I seem to be the only one who doesn't like the fact that Final Fantasy X treats the player like a complete retard and holds the player's hand throughout the entire game.

I didn't really mind it, since it was the first RPG I ever seriously got into. Maybe if I had more experience with the genre, that would piss me off, but for a newbie like me, it was pretty informative.

it took like an hour for me to get through all the tutorials...O.o

Speaking of which, I've been playing FF4 again recently.

Get it. Now. It has both FF4 and Chrono Trigger (another good RPG), although I never played the FF Chronicles versions of them. Just the SNES ones.

And if you can, either download the SNES versions of FF5 & FF6, or buy FF Anthologies, which has both games, for PSOne.

Edit: Actually, you should try both. Final Fantasy Anthologies has some nice bonus features, particularly for FF6, like a beastiary, items you can win at the Colosseum (including what enemy you face), and others. Also includes a CD with several remixed themes from both games. However, the loading times are an issue.

The loading times ruined the FF6 ending, however the FF5 ending appears to have been saved. I haven't played its SNES version but the ending to FF5 still had dialouge and scenes in sync with the music, unlike FF6, for some reason.

They're worth it. But don't be surprised if you can't bring yourself to play FF7 or X again afterward...

im just afraid it might be a flashy redone carbon copy of the original...i hope they add some knew scenes and stuff...wah i just know i'll cry again when aeris dies;_;
yes i sed it i cried!! it was sad for me and if you are a ff7 hater then i respect your opinion but i dont wanna hear it! sorry but i liked that game.
