Ummm... unless you've heard something I haven't, Square is NOT working on an FF7 remake. The rumor that Square is working on a remake of FF7 using more up-to-date graphics is nothing but fans taking scenes made specifically for a tech demo and jumping to conclusions.
(It should be noted that a long time ago, FF6 was the basis for a similar rumor).

Sorry for double posting but I just got Chronicles! I only played Chrono Trigger because it says the Final Fantasy IV disc is two players! So me and my buddy are gonna play it later.

.... Huh? Final Fantasy IV has no two-player option. It's single-player all the way through.

I'm looking at the back of the box right now. It says 1 or 2 Players.

I'm looking at the back of the box right now. It says 1 or 2 Players. ... That is odd. I do not remember either FF4 or Chrono Trigger having a two-player mode. And I've played both fairly recently. There must be some new sub-game they added or somesuch like that. I doubt that the main games themselves have suddenly become two-player.

Chrono Trigger isn't 2 players. Just FF4.

Well, either way, I'm sure that whatever the two-player bit is, it's completely optional. You can still enjoy the game just by yourself.
I know Final Fantasy *Six* had a two-player option. In that game, the "Two-Player" mode was where you could set it up so that, during battle, some characters were controlled by Player One and some were controlled by Player Two. Maybe they added something similar to FF4?
