Although I've lost interest in the series, FFV, VI, VII and IX were my favorite games. And Nobu Uematsu is an excellent music composer! ;D

I've only played III (the SNES version), X, and X-2. But my favorite of these is by far X-2. I have "real Emotion" on my Winamp playlist. ;D

"Final Fantasy is all that I play, All other games are lame, It puts them all to shame!"
Seriously, I loved the first six Final Fantasy games (well... not ALL of them. I didn't like Final Fantasy II), with Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy IV being my favorites of the series (Note that I'm using the numberings from the Playstation compilations--in short, when I say "Final Fantasy IV" I mean the one about Cecil, the Dark Knight who becomes a Paladin).
I also liked the first Final Fantasy Legend game, even though that's "not really a Final Fantasy game." I couldn't get into the second one of that series, and for regular FF I couldn't stand the series after FF7.

I'm not really a fan but I have played some of the games.
Out of the ones I've played FFX was my fav... followed closely by FF7... but FFX2 was... horrible... I couldn't stand playing it... I really felt sorry for Yuna and the other girls... but the song was catchy ^^

I loathe FFX-2. FFX was okay, but definitely not a fav. Auron was really the only reason I stayed interested. And Lulu and Rikku were cool. That is all.

Let's see, I am an FF fan, and my absolute favorite one must be FFT. I love that game so much. I also liked VI and X. Haven't played X-2 yet, because I haven't finished X yet, and that would kind of ruin it, wouldn't it? I'm also in the middle of playing FFTA, and it's good so far, but FFT is definitely better. I love Nobuo Uematsu too. I think he also composed the theme music of Final Fantasy Unlimited, which is an anime series that I like too. "Final Fantasy is all that I play, All other games are lame, It puts them all to shame!" Heh, if I'm remembering correctly, that goes to the tune of the chocobo song.

Heh, if I'm remembering correctly, that goes to the tune of the chocobo song. You remember correctly. Ya know, it's kinda sad really, about the FF Series... Everybody and their dog has heard of Cloud, Squall, and Tidus, but I bet ya anything no one remembers who the Light Warriors are or who Cecil was.

I remember the good ol Light Warriors! They practically started it all!
As for Cecil, I don't really know anything about him other than that he's from FFIV....

I'm a big FF fan. I've played all the SNES ones and played a little of 7 & 8
I'm hoping to eventually get a credit card so I can start playing FF XI.

Final Fantasy VI was always my favorite out of the series. Everybody had their own novel-esque story, and the game didn't revolve around a single character. Plus, you could do so much here! After half-way through the game you can do anything you want!
Final Fantasy VIII is my second favorite. Such a sweet story and what a score. I think this is Nobuo's best soundtrack since VI. That, and the game is just so pretty to look at.
I only liked Final Fantasy X mostly for the story. The game wasn't particularly exciting to me, but the story kept me hooked. I'm eagerly awaiting the day eBay releases the Final Fantasy X Complete DVD (they released a FFVIII one that has every scene in the game, totally an eleven hour DVD set.).
FF1/2 = 8/10 (Remakes 9/10.) FF3 = Haven't played it yet. Waiting for the DS port FF4 = 7/10 FF5 = 9/10 FF6 = 10/10 FF7 = 9/10 (10/10 if Advent Children is any good) FF8 = 10/10 FF9 = 8/10 (Old school!) FF10 = 9/10 FF10-2= 7/10 FF11= Haven't played it yet, and have no intention to FFT = 8/10 FFTA = 9/10 FFUSA = 5/10 Kingdom Hearts = 10/10 (I consider it a Final Fantasy game.)

I've never actually played a Final Fantasy game besides FF I, which I didn't even get to finish because the NES crapped out when I got to the vampire place. I've watched my cousin play VII-XI. I have Final Fantasy Chronicles for the PS, but I've only played the Chrono Trigger disc. I haven't gotten around playing the FF IV disc. Cecil is from there, right James. *has the strategy guide* And the Light Warriors are from the first one, if I'm not mistaken- Black Mage, Fighter, Thief, Red Mage, etc. Which reminds me: does anyone else read 8-bit Theater? The sprite comic that rocks hardcore.
Fighter: I bet in heaven they let you eat cookies for breakfast every day.
edit: Kingdom Hearts? Lol. Well, it looks like an FF game, contains FF charas, so I guess you could count it as part of the series, though I don't.
