I NEVER SAID THAT THE TREE IS WRONG YOU FREAKIN IDIOT! IT IS THE CAUSE THAT MATTERS! If there is good reason for a cause such as self defense or to protect someone else, it is RIGHT. If it was done for no reason and is against some sorta law it is considered WRONG. IT IS ALL IN THE POINT OF WRONG!

So I'll let the tree do it. I hope you don't mind a homosexual tree speeking for me. But it's a very intelligent homosexual tree. Very old. Lots of rings on its trunk. (thx for the sig part) how does stealing protect anyone? one must act in a way to hurt no one but maybe themselves, and choosing to only hurt them selves. And why does the man not HUNT for once, would hunting not be suitable for protection? Or was the man too weak to hunt, if he was, he still should not steal. Stealing is for the low, they have no mind of what they do to hurt others. That was not the protection i meant. A student might graduate top of his class, but then become a beggar of the streets. Academics mean nothing if god really wants us to do as he syas. Did god tell us we needed to be rich to worship him? Did he sayu we needed to be completely good? No, god helps most those who have done bad things and want to retrun to his light once again. One must not steal from a public place unless it is for the greater good of the world as you know that it will DEFINITLY help everyone you are working for. Stealing an exam does not protect the child from anything. Not stealing would protect the child. Stealing would ENCOURAGE the child to steal more often. (btw, this is way off subject  ) |

I WILL ANSWER THIS MINI DEBATE, RIGHT HERE AND NOW:
Everything is subjective. Pointing this out in no way furthers the discussion, though, and thus is a moot point. Shades of Grey vs. Absolute Morality =/= Are Gays really A. OK?
LET'S KEEP THE DEBATE TO THE SLIPPERY SLOPE OF GAY MARRIAGE LEADING TO TERRORIST ATTACKS. (or whatever the HELL we were talking about.)

"A Good Reason" and "A Just Cause".... these are all matters of opinion, as Regan has stated above. Whether something is right and wrong... it depends on your point of view. That's why we have a legal system to check such things in the cases of murder and other crimes. As far as homosexuality goes, as Clanker said, it's not hurting you, hindering you, or effecting your quality of life, so what gives you the right to judge them? And Regan... I LOOOVE you even more (if possible) for that Les Mis reference. <3 |

The tree has had pretty much all of the religious/moral vomitings that it can take. He now just wants to soak up some sun and twine his branches with those of that hot oak from next door. Unfortunately, this is a bit of a problem because in doing so, he's blocking out the oak's sunlight and stealing it. But on the other hand, he himself needs the light. Damn.
