True, for the sake of it being a TV show (and perhaps to suggest there was always something there between them). Although I realise that a lot of people (even on this forum) claimed that they had never noticed any 2/5 evidence during the show, so they're going to find this even more surprising. This seemed to be mainly because it wasn't confirmed up until now, not like 3/4 was a number of times throughout the show.

2/5 is one of my fave pairings! Why? Because there are many hints towards this couple. Numbuh 5 often holds Numbuh 2's hand (Even if she's trying to pull him away from danger XD) and there are some episodes based specifically on 2 and 5 (Example, CLOWN, RABBIT). They also seem like really good friends. I prefer 2/5 to 1/5 for unknown reasons, I'm just like that XD I think they are really cute together too and the part where they were singing together in BEACH was adorable!

But 3/4 was completely in-your-face. You'd have to be blind to miss all those hints! On the other hand, 2/5 was subtle, so it wasn't as noticable. I'm not quite sure how the people you're talking about missed the big stuff like them going together in DATE, the jealous tone in Abby's voice in UNCOOL, or "the pun thing." (But maybe I tend to see them more because of shipping 2/5 for so long, but still...) And welcome to the 2/5 thread, Numbuh 7/Fuzzypaw! (Which one would you rather be called by?) It's nice to meet another 2/5 fan We have a 2/5 social club in the "chat" section too (where we just talk about anything really), feel free to stop by and join in the chaos. ;D Yeah, they did have some big moments together. I think rather than these not being noticed, they sometimes got a "this doesn't have to mean they like each other" response, which was fair enough since it was their opinion. But now, though, we know for sure  |

Subtlety in the hints between Hoagie and Abby? Hmm. You know, I perceived this duo as being adventurous in their own way, and I might have gotten inspiration from some scenes in which those two teamed up to stop whatever crazy candy scheme that Heinrich von Marzipan character thought of. Yes, Hoagie and Abby's "observations" of Wally and Kuki as a couple also helped in my understanding of them. Out of curiosity, are there any songs that can best describe this couple?

I also thought the way of Abby being jealous of when Hoagie mentioning if Cree or Numbuh 10... I always thought that may have been proof.

Hehe yup, jealousy is always a fun, good bit of evidence! And when Hoagie was chatting up the cheerleaders in PARTY. Have to say though, I think one of my favourite kinds of 2/5 evidence is the puns thing. Especially in CHOCOLATE when Abby started coming up with her own bad puns. This suggests that she secretly has a soft spot for him, and just doesn't want the others in her sector to be aware. Out of curiosity, are there any songs that can best describe this couple? We used to have a thread with quite a lot of songs for them, but there was a glitch and a big chunk of pages got deleted. I'll post any I think of though. |

I honestly thought Numbuh Five was gonna end up with Maurice. I know he was in hardly any episodes, but still. Not that I'm upset that she didn't. End up with him, I mean.
Grrr, I got so mad at JK for that Neville/Hannah thing and the Luna/grandson-of-some-random-guy thing. C'mon, Luna and Neville forever!!

I guess there doesnt have to be lots of evidence, maybe something else happened between the time they were decommisioned and the time they got together

I also thought about this when I watched their relationships... I was thinking about a sister to sister confrontation on this thing... But when MAURICE was aired, I got a little down coz I've always liked the idea... Haha! That would totally hotten up their sister rivalry! ;D |

^Totally; I once wondered how it would be if Cree actually liked Hoagie at some point. And even more, if Abby liked Hoagie too; I guess Hoagie would be a happy man for having two girls all over him. Then again, he would have to chose; and we all know who would he chose in the end.

I was thinking about a sister to sister confrontation on this thing... Well there was a sorta-kinda-but-not-really confrontation with Cree and Abby in KISS, and Hoagie just happened to be in the middle of it. But Hoagie was "Hank," so neither Cree nor Abby knew he was Hoagie. *shrugs* |

Nope; they didn't know. The only "confrontation" there was between them was with Maurice but Maurice has nothing to do in this place so... Abby stayed with Hoagie in the end anyway.

Can you imagine what their teen life would be like? There's Hoagie, trying to romance all the girls he knows, until Abby finds out and either whaps him with her hat or drags him away, while Hoagie quickly shouts out, "call me!" to whatever random girl he's just been talking to. ... umm... I don't even know why I bothered explaining that. It's really kind of similar to how they are in the show. |
