Thanks, maybe after that Father and Patton would be:
It was a mistake; I didn't mean to say that! But you did, and it so happens that it's the truth; you answered without thinking and so it can't be a lie. It's so cute and so disgusting Shut up and get the heck out of here! Oh, I'm going alright; I've got just what I needed. You're more stupid than I thought but thanks for the information.
And then he would warn Patton as you had said before... That is if you like the idea.

Thanks Deli. I loved Father saying that Patton's love for Rachel is so cute, yet so disgusting. That made me chuckle.
Hi Goldie! It's nice to see you back again after a few days. I see you like what Deli came up with as well, that was something I enjoyed as well.
Say, did you happen to read the final section of my recent oneshot by any chance Goldie?

Well, I can defiantly imagine him saying that; Father is really a character and couldn't leave him without saying something along those lines.

Yes, as a matter of fact, I just finished reading it. It's awesome as always. ^^ I love how you always go in depth with their characters in the simplest ways, despite the fact that Patton has about.. oh, I'd say no more than forty-five lines in the entire series. Or maybe more.. but not by that much. You've got an amazing imagination.

Very true Deli. That sort of makes it hard to write one liners or Father but regeradless, they're hillarious or awesome if done right. Guess that must be a trait he picked up from GrandFather.
Thanks for the comment Goldie. I really do try to add depth to the characters even with their own traits or traits I have created for them for I try to stay in character, it makes them more human in many ways.
In Patton's case it's a little more challenging because we don't know much about him. But with the character traits I have created for him, as well expanding his already shown character traits, I think I've really turned him into a character that I think a good majority of the KND fanbase would like.

You have developed him quite well; I imagine him with some more liking for teasing the others but pretty much your idea of Patton is enjoyable.

Thanks Deli. I actually also enjoy making Patton a bit of a tease, which prompts me to make him a bit of a flirt as well, but only with the one who holds his heart.
BTW, expect a new topic discussion from me sometime tomorrow.

Cool, and yes; having him teasing the one he loves is funny and also gives away a lot of things.

We're just duscussing about this little concept I came up with, Deli and I were adding onto it. Then Goldie came back for a little bit ( I sure hope her studies won't keep her away from this place much in the up coming months) and she had enjoyed what Deli had come up with. I asked her if she had read the final part of my recent oneshot, and she gave me a small review. Then Deli and I went on to talk about traits for Patton, with me saying I'll have a new topic discussion up by tomorow, which I shall now do.
A common series cliche we have seen with the Sector V crew( and even with Fanny) is what they're home lives are like. What type of relationships they have with their family members, and what goes on in their lives outside of the KND. Unfortunately, some characters were not developed enough for us to get a sense or even a taste of that. That said, here's the question.
What do you think Rachel and Patton's home lives are like?
For Rachel, I have come up with the idea that she lives in a huge mansion, coming from cash. Her parents however, are never home, which prompts Rachel to think that they don't love her at all. There are many servants in the house, but the one she is closest to is her strict, stern, but caring maid Helga, with whom she shares a mother/daugther relationship with. She and Harvey get along rather well, but Harvey's constant brattiness causes them to bicker on many ocassions.
For Patton, I think he just lives in a normal sized two story house with his two parents, and comes from a tough, but loving environment. Patton loves his parents very much, as they do him, but is constantly annoyed with his mother's ditzyness and his father's pervertedness. Regardless though, he shares a good relationship with them both.
What do you guys think?

I'd say Rachel has a normal two-story house with a nice and big garden. Her mom stays at home and her father works all day; her father started working all day shortly after Harvey was born and so his mother treated the boy with so much care he got the attitude he has now even though he can get along with Rachel rather well. Rachel for her part, passed enough time with both of her parents when she was younger and she knows they love her to death but she never liked how her mother treated Harvey because he was becoming a spoiled child.
From Patton's part; I think his dad may be working with the army and has little time to spend with him, while his mom has to work from her part to get some extra money but they can see each other in the evening and before Patton goes to school and Patton stays some time alone after school. And maybe Patton has an older brother in college who visits them each time he can, Patton looks up to him because he's a great intelligent guy and is a pride for the Family something Patton wants to be as well for his parents. His father is very strict but comprensive when necessary and her mother is caring so nothing to worry about.

Sounds good.
Lemme see.. For Rachel, I kind of like the idea of her family being rich and her parents working all the time. However, servants and maids might be pushing it kind of far. She seems like a pretty normal kid. Her parents are probably always working, like Prettywitch said, and rarely have much time for Rachel and her brother. So that's probably why her and her brother apparently get along so well. Maybe. Maybe not. Just a supposition.
For Patton, I really like what Deli said, with his father being in the military. That explains his personality and such. Perhaps, although adults are supposed to be the enemy, he gets along with his mother all right. He doesn't seem to have any troubles, and I don't imagine him being an emotional guy who goes through a tough time. Just a normal life with his dad in the military and a mom who loves him. Oh! Maybe a German Shepherd. ^^

Well, I usually only have her interact with Helga, so I guess you're right Goldie.
I like the idea of Patton's father being in the military, but I'd imagine that the more perverted side of him is his fun side. I don't really try to make Patton an overly emotional guy myself, but it more so comes from the idea that he keeps his more sensetive feelings inside until someone he trusts can break the tough act he puts up to hide them.
Oh, BTW, I have decided that once things become less hectic in my life, that I might just do two back to back stories centered around the incident in ZERO between Rachel and Patton. One is an alternate of the fight between them, and the other is a scene that shortly happens after GrandFather's defeat, and Rachel's little discussion with Nigel.
I'll probably write them over the summer, or perhaps towards the end of May, beginning of June, as a little last fanfic thing for awhile as I study for my exam. It'll probably be the summer though before these come into fruition.
