I could see it this way:
Patton looked down at Rachel in his arms, glad he had been able to save her before anything else could happen, Rachel looked back up at him with a grateful expression.
"Thank you, you saved my life." The blonde said with a smile, Patton smiled back.
"Anytime," He saw Rachel looking down as if making sure they were safe in the air, he decided to tease her a bit "No offense but you're heavier than you look."
"Shut up!" Rachel said while glaring at the boy before punching him lightly on the arm. Patton tok his chance to speed up and fly back up rising high in the air making Rachel scream in fear and hold onto his neck for dear life; the act made Patton smirk at her but he couldn't hide the pink blush on his cheeks.
"Hey, I didn't know you loved me so."
"Shut up, and get us down to the ship to see if we can help someway!" #60 did as he was told ready to go back and see how the battle was going but, even though it wasn't the best situation, he felt rather happy for the moment.
And that would be it.

I like it Deli, very cute. And perfectly representable of their non-relationship friendship, even if there are hints providing it.
My favorite part probably has to be when she yells at him to get them down to the ship. I found that both humerous, and very in character of Rachel to do.

Exactly. I enjoy scenes like that too.
I know it's not overly busy here today, but I'd like to do a new topic discussion before I sign off here today.
Lunch is usually a time for relaxation as opposed to romance. But if done right, lunch can be an enjoyable experience with your lover, if done right. That said, here's the question.
What would be the prefect lunch for Rachel and Patton?
As both kids and adults, I think they'd enjoy a nice little sandwich picnic. Rachel would have a meatball sandwhich, and Patton would enjoy a grilled cheese sandwhich. The beverage would be rootbeer, and dessert would be a delicious slice of cheese cake.
What do you think would be a perfect lunch?

I agree with the meatball sandwich for Rachel and also maybe something light like salad just to balance. I also think she would like some juice like apple juice or maybe grape. And a vanilla ice cream with chocolate chips for dessert ;D. Patton... Let me think... Maybe tacos if he had time but if not then a simple bologna sandwich or something of the sort, and a coke as his drink. Dessert... Key Lime Pie  . And, while as childs they would go to some random park maybe as adults they would like to eat it at a terrace or balcony just enjoying being away from other people. |

I like your suggestion for Rachel's dessert, that's something I can see her eating as well.
Sorry guys, I would have replied sooner, but the rain blew a stupid fuse and the power went out until now! It took them forever to fix it, they had to be so damn slow!

Someone keeps deleting your account huh? I wonder who could be doing that? Hopefully you'll get this resolved soon.
And before I sign off today, I have a new story concept I want to share with you guys.
In it, ice cream men invade Arctic Base, only to be beaten by Patton and some of the other Arctic operatives. As they're being taken to prison cells, Father comes from out of nowhere. Patton goes to strike, but Father melts his gun, only claiming to want to chat with the young Drill Sergeant.
Father then begins to question Patton about his behaviour, saying that he was rather brash when Chad was Supreme Leader, but upon Rachel becoming Supreme Leader, Patton would obey her every command, almost as if she had tamed him. Using more of his observing evidence, he comes to the conclusion that Patton is in love with her, something the raven haired boy tries to deny.
Unfortuantely, the firey demon piles up to much evidence of his love to her, and Patton unwillingly confesses. After having his laughing fit, Father then tells him to beware from now on, and flies off. This leaves Patton worried about the future, for he is not sure as to what Father will do.

It's nice but having him Unwillingly confessing wouldn't be like him... Maybe having him accidentally confessing? As saying; Father starts to ask a lot of questions and Patton answering like this:(Father and Patton)
You don't like Chad?
No!
Are you proud of your possition?
Yes!
Do you like training cadets?
Yes!
Is #362 a good Supreme Leader?
Yes!
Better than Chad?
Yes!
Are you in love with her?
Yes!
Gotcha!

Yeah sorry about the out of characterness with him unwillingly confessing, but I only came up with this concept last night, so I don't have all the story beats figured out. That, and my brain wasn't functionming properly when I typed that.
Anyhow, I loved what you did there Deli! Especially with Father saying 'Gotcha' at the end.
I could totally see Patton blushing out of emberassment, and then trying to deny his statement by saying this:
N60: Th-That's not true! I...I just got caught up in the heat of conversation!
Father: Oh please kid, you're not fooling me! (laughs) Oh this is rich! Numbuh 60, the fearless head of Arctic Base, is hopelessly in love with his Supreme Leader! Of which he is not supposed to love at all! ( laughs)
