Here's another KND "taboo" that I recently discovered after browsing the ORIGINAL trivia post from 2005---it appears that in SITTER, some suggestive dialogue from Hoagie was cut out by CN censors and replaced with "(Growls) Kitty's got claws." HERE is the link.

HERE is the link. Actually he purred. Growling isn't really the same thing as purring. You know, I know this would be on a girl's status but: In CAKED-FIVE, when the ice-cream busted and Numbuh Five hit the floor grabbing her stomach... anyone else think she was having cramps or.. you know, on her time of the month? -Sweets craving -Grabbing stomach, serious cramping ... She actually could have been on her TOM. <.<; Girls CAN do that at a young age, you know. (... 11 at mine. ^^; )

Yeah, bad choice of words on my part...sometimes I can't think of the right word on the spot...thus I have to edit my posts multiple times! Sorry, Allie!

Did Bugs Bunny have an "It"? It's odd that Number 2 would get a suggestive thought because only teens and adults think like that.

Most of the kids on my street and certainly a lot more in the immediate area have minds that think like that, and I live in a nice quiet town. I don't count 'cause I'm fourteen. :3

I'll need to talk to my WB experts, but according to them, yes, Bugs Bunny was once seen "anatomically correct" in one of his old cartoons. On one black and white cartoon, Porky Pig said "son of a b****" out loud.

A bunch of kids I know are ten and they already have NC-17 minds.

And back in the old days they didn't even show on tv.Well, sometimes they did like in Popeye once did they actually say the a-word? Yes, savanna. I, too am a vintage cartoon buff, and I have some knowledge to share. They were shown theatrically, aimed at a predominantly adult audience. In fact, many scenes from the cartoons, such as extreme violence, use of tobacco and alcohol, and racial and ethnic stereotypes commonplace back in the day, were cut out of television showings of the cartoons by network censors. Thankfully, the cartoons are unedited on DVD, though the boxes bear a disclaimer stating that they are intended for the adult collector. The cartoons, however, were not as adult as, say, Family Guy, for example, because the ultra-restrictive Hays Code put strict limits on what filmmakers could insert into their movies---no sex, no profanity, no on-camera murders, for example. In 1968 the Hays code was abolished in favour of the modern rating system we know today. This gave filmmakers more freedom as far as content goes, but restrictions are put on what age groups can attend the screening of the film. And JAM---you thought Porky saying the b-word was terrible, get a load of this: Before Bugs, before Daffy, and before Porky, there was Bosko, the Talk-Ink Kid. He was a WB cartoon star in the early 1930's. There is a moment in Bosko's Picture Show (1933), when a Simon Legree-type villain walks onto the movie screen. An angry Bosko points to the screen and utters "Why that dirty f**k!" This was about two years before the Hays Code went into effect.
