It's a thread where everyone can talk about the video game series created by Nintendo, Pokemon.
If anyone knows, talk about it in this thread.

I own Pokemon Red, Yellow, Gold (but gave it to a friend), Emerald, Fire-Red, Pearl, and PMD 2: Explorers of Time.
I'm a Treecko in PMD, with Totodile as my partner. ^.^ Together, we're called Team Wolvons - a combination of wolves and dragons.

I really like the series, but I've been starting to think that it's starting to get really stale ever since the 3rd generation came out. Even though I've kept up with the series, they should end it before there are just too many Pokemon and run out of ideas.
As for the merchandise and anime, don't get me started.

I've been trying the Aura Quiz with my family, and here's how it stands! My Mum: a Chikorita! My sister, Katherine: a Squirtle! My Dad: a Pikachu! And me: a Chimchar!

I lost interest in Pokemon after they introduced May and her group; it really got stale after that. However, I do own Yellow, Red, Blue, Gold, Silver, Crystal, and Sapphire. I lost most of them, though. >__<

I agree with Bacondude somewhat, but not before they make a G/S/C remake.

@kbk When I first heard of Diamond and Pearl, I was so excited; I thought it was going to be a remake of Gold and Silver, like FireRed and LeafGreen were for Red and Blue!
I don't know why, but my favorite 'traveling' Pokemon game would be FireRed... I have a Charamander, Mankey, and Spearow. I'm training my Mankey to toughen up to kick Brock's butt! Then I'll have my Charamander and Spearow kick some bug pokemon to the curb during my travel to Mt. Moon.
But to be honest, I wish they would have made a G/S/C remake. I let my friend keep my Gold version. I used to have Silver, but I lost it in a hotel room years back.
In my Emerald version, my Treecko is in it's mid-30s. I'm not letting it evolve. I also have Pearl, but I've stopped playing it for some reason.. hopefully I'll get back to it, and PMD Time too.

Man, was I really addicted to these games when I was younger. XDD Between my brother and me, I think we actually own every GameBoy version there is.
My favourite version, I think, is Emerald. I've just always loved the Hoenn region and its Pokemon. >X3 Mudkips are win. *always, always chooses the water type*

Any region! :3 If I were a pokemon trainer that lived in one of the regions... ...poop. They're all cool. But I would love to get a Treecko for my first pokemon! X3 And then, we'll travel in through the Johto region... Yeah, I guess it's because there was one of these trainers in the series that entered the Johto league, and his first pokemon was a Blaziken.. and I guess he traveled the Johto region instead of Hoenn.

The game or the show? Pokémon Diamond and Pearl I have enjoyed watching, especially Team Galactic's machinations at Veilstone City and Lakes Verity, Valor, and Acuity, all the way up to the Spear Pillar. I seldom play Pokémon Ruby nowadays, given my preference for imagining Dialga and Palkia's brawl at the Spear Pillar. Of course, there's Pearlshipping, particularly Pearlshipping Week this week, but that might be another story. Explorers of Time and Darkness I also found to be excellent, if in terms of a more detailed plot. Overall, I should opine that Pokémon has been remarkable for my own thoughts, given the basic freedom to think about it.

This is my favourite show, though I must say James either getting eaten by his Pokemon or them cuddling him instead of battling I don't really find funny anymore, it's gotten quite old.
Anyway, I own most of the Pokemon games for the gameboy and Pokemon Pearl and Diamond for ds. I also have a couple of the games for the nintendo 64, Pokemon snap and Pokemon Stadium one and two.
The only games I'm missing for the gameboy are Pokemon Green and one of the rescue team games, I'm pretty sure it's the blue one I have.

Grave-digger post I know, but I wanted to see if there was any interest in these games now, with Platinum coming out in the states and all. I'm really excited, especially since I pre-ordered it and will get a Giratina statue/action figure as a bonus. I've also been going to those Toys R Us events to get those rare Pokemon. (Like the manaphy with the red scarf, the shaymin that can transform to "sky"-min, the regigigas that'll unlock regice, regirock, and registeel, etc.)
And now I plan on doing something I've never done before. When I get Platinum, I'm going to capture all 493 Pokemon... With no cheat device or outside trades. Wish me luck.
