I still can't believe there's an ICE-CREAM pokemon.
Even though I plan to get White, Game Freak is running out of ideas. :/

I am going to get both White and Black. In the past I have gotten one version and my brother got the other, but since he has moved far, far away I am going to have to get them both. I still can't believe there's an ICE-CREAM pokemon. What? We need more edible Pokemon

Yay. My White version should be arriving in a few days. I'm so excited. < I hope you have a DS or a DS Lite, because I heard that the DSi is region locked.

Hang on a mo, which DS version is it for? It is for any Nintendo DS, it's just that the DSi is region locked and a Japanese game wouldn't work in an American DSi.

Yep, precisely.
I have three DS's, a Lite, original, and DSi... not sure how that happened, suppose it just kinda came along overtime, but it's convenient. XD I'll be using my Lite for this game.

Wait a sec....wadda ya mean by region locked with the dsi? Could someone explain this to me, please? It means the DSi can only play games in whatever country it is from. So an American DSi can only play American games, a Japanese DSi can only play Japanese games, etc. The original DS and DS Lite are not region locked and can play a game from any country.

I also find it note worthy that the Pokeshifter (new way to transfer Pokemon from previous Gen games) is also region locked, which is extremely annoying for me.

The starters for gen. 5 have their English names confirmed. The snake is Snivy, the pig is Tepig, and the otter is Oshawott. I think that Snivy and Tepig are alright but what is up with Oshawott? What does it even mean? It sounds like the name of a Native American Tribe (no offense to anyone).
