Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version | Official Video Game Site

Well, the official site's up, and overall... I'm not quite sure what to think yet. Reshiram and Zekrom do have my attention as of this moment, and I suspect that I'll make a decision on which version to play for myself soon enough. I will be certain to attempt to base the moves of whatever Pokémon I end up acquiring on Pokémon belonging to the main characters in the show, most likely Ash, as closely as I can.

Well, speaking of black and white, I've turned my attention toward the villainous team in Unova, Team Plasma, which supposedly has a less clear-cut goal than, say, Team Galactic. I will blame no one who opines that one of the musical themes associated with Team Plasma's leader, known simply as N at this point, is, to put it mildly, a little bit creepy. In my case, I'll be fine with continuing to catch and train Pokémon as I have, but I'll be more likely to keep an eye on Team Plasma should it appear in the show.

I have a feeling that Team plasma is a bit more sinister than the previous villians. Anyone else agree with me?

Interesting point. Given my current -- or past -- penchant for villainy in Pokémon, maybe it was inevitable that I would come to consider Team Galactic and Pokémon Hunter J to be my models for such evil in this show. Separating Pokémon and humans is a motive unlike any I've heard for the evil teams in this show, but perhaps I'll keep track of that when Best Wishes comes to the United States, as well. What can I say? I typically enjoy unity of purpose between different elements, heroic or villainous, and as of these last few weeks of this year, Pokémon has proven to be no exception.

So, how is Black and White going for all of you? What's your party? Which characters do you like best? Any badges, legendaries, National Dex? Find N interesting?

I've recently hatched an egg (Snivy) and will be trading it off in a little while, then starting my journey over. ^^; (Fresh...) I'll choose Snivy again, and this time, I'll get Panpour to be second in my party... I... didn't know where the woman is where she'd give you the type of monkey. I forgot it. D:

I beat my US Black a few weeks ago. I went with the same routine as I did with my Japanese White, where I beat most of the game only using one Pokemon. On White I used Scrafty, and Black I used Galvantula.

I recently hatched a shiny Snivy on the third egg. It was awesome, especially after that drought I had.

I currently only have heart gold, and pokemon blue, along with Pokemon pinball, and also Pokemon Colosseum for the gamecube. I'll get black/white when it's cheaper.

I currently don't know how to get my ds wifi so I can battle people. When I learn how, if any of you have heartgold/ soulsilver we should battle. >)

I am so hooked on Pokemon Colosseum. It's so addicting.

I beat my Black in a week. I haven't beat White yet and it has been a while since I have played it.

(By "beat" I mean beat the Elite Four)

I don't think I have ever "completed" my Pokemon games. Haha, because I heard when you do Red decides to go train at the top of Mt Silver.

Heavily annoyed at Pokemon Colosesseum right now. >> I'm on Mt battle and I have to battle all these annoying trainers, They're 10 rounds, and 10 battle per a round so thats 100 pokemon battles in a row. So exhausting. The first 9 of each round are all "omg my pokemon is gonna beat you it's the best evar!!!" and the "boss" is annoying with their many duplicates. The battling style is different than the normal games, since you always have 2 on 2 battles, where 2 pokemon are out at all time.

I swear if I had lots of money I would buy black right now. But alas, I'm trying to save money so I can cosplay Ash with my roommate as Gary.
