Gotta hand it to you, 0xFF, you did really well not to read any of the spoilers! Heh, I was weak... I raided the INTERVIEWS thread the moment I found some spare time. I agree, good episode. I was a little disappointed after reading some of the spoilers, but the episode turned out to be better than it seemed like it'd be, so I'm glad to have seen it. It's great that they finally got together. Although I can't help but wonder... how long have Sector CP been planning on making 2/5 canon?

@smoothies
I'm going to make mine a bit different...a mimosa (champagne & orange juice) with mango juice.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Probably since they made Heinrich into a girl, thereby rendering 5/H a canonic impossibility due to the target demographic of the show.

My smoothie has a crazy straw (orange-coloured) with pinapple bits on it, and a marchino cherry on top. Since I LOVE pina coladas (alcohol-free, I'm only fourteen after all), it has a small dash of pinapple juice in it. It also has a lemon slice on the side of the glass.

I'll put my two cents in and make it unanimous. I like the couple 2/5, but I was suprised when I saw that they were married.
@smoothies
I would love one! (Grabs one with a green parasol in it).
Hold on. (Looks at smoothie glass) Green, orange. (Gasps) The Pandas have to celebrate Wally and Kuki's marriage! Even though everyone and their cousin Lester knew this couple would end up together.

Hello again. School is incredibly boring here, unlike you guys, you have awesome schools. However, the school yearbook is accepting any entries for their creative section, so I'm making a comic and be POPULAR.
Anyway, me and a friend are planning on making a comic, I make the sketches and he inks them. So I say to you other guys who are making comics, try your best, and best wishes!

Cool, good luck with your comic. Also, happy birthday to NumbuhInfinity and CrazyAsianGirl! *throws confetti* Once again, this calls for mango smoothies.

Post some pages when you're done. ^^ Oh, I finally finished the opening to my own comic. Since the Other Art board doesn't exist anymore, I'll just pimp it here: Surviving Maitown: OpeningIt's the same one linked in my sig, so if you read that, you read this.

Haha, nice! If that's the sort of sense of humour you're gonna keep up in the comic, it should be really great.
Also, the new KND eppies have finished airing in the UK now. The last of season 6 plus INTERVIEWS was yesterday, and the crossover was on just now.
My rabbit was sitting on my lap during INTERVIEWS and watched it with great interest and concentration. ;D

More or less. ^^
Unfortunately, someone ELSE wrote the main dialogue. I altered it a bit. It'll probably be a running gag, though. He wrote several more similar scenes for me.

Holy crap, I found some old KND art I did! I think I posted this here before, yes? Made a stupid Xiaolin Showdown pun, I believe. Operation HAMSTER got to me. =3

Heinrich Hamster wins.
Hehe, love the 2/5 Xiaolin Showdown pic! I definitely don't remember that one.
Wow. We now have 2001 members. Even though KND is over. Are we good or what?

Hokey smokes, I'm finally back ON this site. Took me forever to find the new way to access the forums.
I imagine they decided to make the pairing canon pretty much at the beginning of the season. They knew they were going to have to end out the season, and they knew their fan base sufficently to know what they had to close out, and what they didn't.
The question now becomes, did they just decide to send Nigel off to G:KND for story purposes (It WAS a pretty cool part), and then defaulted to 2/5, or did they always picture Nigel as something of a loner, and just decided to finalize the general shadow ideas they had throughout the series? Or to put it simply, did they make 2/5 official because Nigel left, or because they always had something like that in mind?
I personally think the latter (obviously, that's why I'm on this forum.). Otherwise, as thesuki said up there, the Heinrich episode doesn't make much sense. If they always had a notion of Nigel and Abby, and they knew they were going to send off Nigel, why bother closing off Heinrich? Closing off Lizzie makes sense, Nigel was going away, so they needed to cut his ties. But Heinrich seems kind of pointless, especially since there was no prior indication she was a girl.
That said, INTERVIEWS did surprise me. I had been part of 2/ 5 for a while, but I actually fell for the 2/3 trick, where they made you think Hoagie and Kuki were married, so the whole revelation at the end was an awesome moment. Helps to be dense.

I totally agree with that. I was really surprised for a moment.
Well, I would've been surprised...if I hadn't read so many spoilers.
But I do agree on that, and 2/5, to me, has always rocked. And I really do think they had always planned 2/5 out just because they liked it. Like us fans.
I also think they might've sent Nigel out just because it was a good story, y'know? Like the whole "Hm. Numbuh One''s real good. He almost rocks. Let's send him off to space or something." "Yeah, that's a great idea! And let's make it all EMOTIONAL!" "Oooh, I like it."
