Paladin gets points for mentioning the 3DO, which was also an obscure system.

I'd say definitely. It's the only space-themed game I'm aware of that came out at the same time as (possibly before) Pong. Man, now we're getting REALLY far back. Next thing you know, we'll be discussing Rogue, Nethack, and ADOM. |

But not with me, because I've never heard of those games. Rogue, Nethack, and ADOM? They're RPGs.... but probably kinda different than what you're used to. It would probbaly be best if you just played them. Nethack and ADOM (which is short for "Ancient Domains of Mystery") are freeware games--you can download them right off the creator's homepages.
