Are you serious. You could really kill the dog?

Yea, there was a newgrounds Flash game (several, in fact) where you got points for shooting the dog.

Guys, I'm sure there must be a MUCH better way to appreciate old-school gaming than to shoot a digital dog that doesn't even have a name...

Maybe video games really DO make people violent. Just think of all the kids who were psychologically scarred by that dog...

Yup, I know my uncle had to seek therapy.
But, seriously, perhaps we should put this thread back on track. (*not sure how exactly to go about this...*) So, yeah... oh! I was playing DK 64 the other day and tried once more to play the arcade games available through it (Donkey Kong and the rocket game, don't remember its name). Those really kinda suck. I can't for the life of me get through the first level of either one! But that's probably just me.

It took me six months to beat DK Arcade. The third level was evil. But now I can beat it easily enough. I have a routine for the first level, it's almost exactly the same each time.
I usually don't go beyond the first level in Jetpac. The first level is a lot safer, and the only thing you're supposed to do is get 5000 points. So I don't go into the ship after I fill it up with fuel.

Have you played that one airplane game where you keep sooting things and gaining more firepower? That game was fun. I will now go check the fanfiction.net.

Galaga, R-Type, Thunder Force, Zero Wing, Steel Empire, 1943, the list goes on and on....
