~My Neighbor Totoro (I've seen it about 20 times...) ~Dude, where's my car? (Yes, I know it's dumb. But, it spawned about 100 different inside jokes with my friends, so it's good). ~Chicken Run (c'mon, chickens with teeth... what's not to love?) ~The Emperor's New Groove (again with the in-jokes) ~Lion King (although pale in comparison to the Broadway version) ~History of the World part 1 (Mel Brooks, 'nuff said) ~Robin Hood: Men in Tights (Mel Brooks) ~Young Frankenstien (Mel Brooks) ~Blazing Saddles (Mel Brooks) ~THE PRODUCERS (the best movie EVER, by, you guessed it, Mel Brooks)
Yeah. I like funny movies. And animated movies. And Mel Brooks. And funny animated Mel Brooks movies (too bad they don't exsist...)!

I tend to not have any favorites.... for longer than a day. That beign said, however, I like:
-The Karate Kid -The original Star Wars trilogy -the first six Star Trek movies (but I'm pretending that Generations and all the films after it never existed). -The Neverending Story -The Last Unicorn -The Hobbit -Watership Down -The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking -Lord of the Rings (the 1970s animated version directed by Ralph Bakshi, not the new ones, though I like some of them too). -Dune (the 1984 one by David Lynch, not the new ones produced by the Sci-Fi channel, which I've never seen) -If I had to name ONE Disney film, it would be The Little Mermaid.
More may or may not be listed later on.
Yea, I tend to have a thing for older movies. I can't stand most new movies (particularly teen comedies like the American Pie series). The only other types of movies I can't stand are James Bond and Mel Brooks films *hopes parron doesn't see that.*

The only other types of movies I can't stand are James Bond and Mel Brooks films *hopes parron doesn't see that.* What's not to love about Mel Brooks movies? I mean, some of his later ones aren't that good, but The Producers is just genious!!! *rants on and on about Mel Brooks while everyone ignores her* I don't really like James Bond movies either, but my dad's a huge fan so I've seen 'em all. I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi, either, if only 'cause I hate it when special effects don't match what they're trying to show. Which is why I tend to go for newer movies. I did like the Lord of the Rings, although they're not my favorites...

What's not to love about Mel Brooks movies? It's just me. I can't stand his sense of humor--I find most of his jokes to be cheap and lame ("Wow, Lone Starr accidentally caused that statue to fall on that guy's foot!... was that supposed to be funny?") People who were around during the Cold War are probably the ones who will like James Bond the most. Heck, they probably even got to read the original Ian Fleming novels (which unlike the movies, are actually good). ... Huh? What movies does that happen in?

The older ones. ^.^ Nah, I'm intensly picky about special effects, I was even able to complain about LotR... ^.^
That quote was from Spaceballs, right? Yeah, that one sucked. Have you seen the Producers, though? That one is the one that got me hooked on Mel Brooks. Some of the jokes are icky, but who can resist a movie with lines like,
"Don't be stupid/be a smarty/come and join the nazi party"
or
"I'm hysterical! I'm hyseterical!" *goes and hides in corner. Water is thrown on him* "I'm... wet! I'm wet and hysterical!" *He is slapped* "I'm... in pain! I'm in pain, and wet, and still hysterical!"
or
"I ain't no madame, I'm the conciurge." said by a middle-aged woman with the strongest (Brooklyn, maybe Queens) accent I've ever heard.
As to the Titanic thing, I was... jeez... nine or ten or eleven. No wonder I didn't "get" it... ^.^()
