Woohoo! The Show Stopper is back, hopefully he'll get the WWE championship from Orton in this way. Good to be back, HBK, we miss you. HIAC? I forgot what is that? Anyway, as for the Smackdown 4-way, I'll choose Austin as always the great referee, Foley is my 2nd choice. JBL is going to screw Rey though, just like I remember the old times when HBK (As referee) screw HHH when he is having a WWE championship match with someone last time, cannot remember who. HBK goes, tap on the floor, then bring up the hand as one, then tap again, bring the hand up as two, vice versa... Hmm, for Piper, I don't know, but we'll see how. By the way, I thought JBL can only do commentating, wouldn't he like cannot be involved with wrestling anymore? If his contract says he cannot fight, then what about being a special guest referee? It's kind of odd when JBL can be referee when his contract says he cannot fight. Confused. Wow, Austin finally got some acting this time, much like The Rock it is today. And alright! Jeff won, the Hardy RULEZ! Whow, HHH gets the bad beating via DQ? No good!

HIAC = Hell in a Cell.
Anyway, those aren't the choices anymore. Now, we get to pick Orton's opponent. The choices are between HBK, Jeff Hardy, and Mr. Kennedy. I know you may be tempted to be a mark and vote for HBK, but why do exactly what WWE is going to want and expect from fans? Me? I love trying to throw a monkey wrench into what WWE is going to want. As much of a Hardy fan as I am, if he does get voted in, Orton will go over (he probably will against HBK, too). So I say this thread officially endorse Mr. Kennedy. How many times do we get to see heel vs. heel? It's even rarer-and often more entertaining-than face vs. face.
On ECW, we get to choose Punk's opponent. We get to choose between 3 heels: Big Daddy V, the Miz, and John Morrison. Morrison returned last night and beat Punk in a non-title match, with excellent exchanges that these two have typified, and that I want to see continue. So I will likely vote for Morrison.
A few weeks ago, you may have remembered on Smackdown, a mystery woman who attacked Torrie Wilson. That was Krissy Vaine, but now the rest of the world will get no explanation as she was recently released. She and her boyfriend (OVW wrestler Ryan O'Reilly) both asked for and got their releases since they were going to be on Smackdown and Raw respectively, and couldn't spend time together. Damn, she was hot, and I was looking forward to seeing her in the ring.

@ecw match: Those choices are serious fail. Both Big Daddy V and The Miz would suck wrestling with CM Punk. So we'll likely get Morrison again even though we've seen Punk vs. Morrison over 9000 times.

Oh yeah, silly me, must have forgotten about that for a long time.
Anyway, I'll pick HBK, even after he gone through his concussion, let's see if he can fight again.
As for ECW, I go for Morrison.
Hmm, about that diva you said, well, too bad though. But still, when it comes to women's matches, I'm more looking towards "Bra and Panties" and "Lingerie" matches. Or even divas with skirts, then can get some panty shots. Sorry for being a pervert, but hey, boys are boys after all.

Though every time Punk and Morrison have a match, they bring down the house. They are seriously the only reasons to watch ECW, so I wouldn't mind seeing them go at it again.
And HBK didn't really have a concussion, his injuries were with his knees. Why WWE went with a concussion on air is beyond me. Still, with 15 years as a singles wrestler and 20 years in WWF/E, it's time to let someone else get the shot. I'd say HBK is like the Simpsons of wrestling: his best days are behind him, but he's still better than 90% of everything else out there.

Well, still, ECW is not my favorite. It still won't interest me if Chris Benoit (If he did not die) or the Boogeyman are over there. As for HBK, I thought it was a concussion. But what about RVD? Anyway, I'm not quite sure if HBK was a WWE champion before, but I'll just give him a shot. I remember during his "concussion", he said he was suffering because he have been in WWE for a very long time but with no WWE championship that is.

^ RVD retired, hence why they had Orton "injure" him in the storyline.
I know Punk vs. Morrison would be good. I'm mostly annoyed with the choices. It would have been better if it were Elijah Burke, John Morrison, and either Tommy Dreamer or Steven Richards (to have one face in there).

Those would be good choices. Though putting one face in, no matter who, would still guarantee him the spot, since marks woud be the primary target. One year, fans chose between 3 faces (Michaels, Kane, and Big Show), so I'd like to see them go the other way, and force fans to choose between three guys they'd normally boo (though Stevie winning the title would be all good). I'd probably have Morrison, Burke, and Thorn as my choices. Meanwhile in ECW Land, former Spirit Squad member Johnny Jeter, the second-most talented of the bunch, just got called up to their roster. Now for some tragedy. Not tragedy really, but unfortunate circumstances. Teddy Hart has been released. They were about to bring up the New Hart Foundation (apparently minus TJ Wilson) to have them do an angle with HBK. Since he was the only one with Hart in his name, that pretty much torpedoes that whole idea. Not only was he mega-talented, but he has killed the careers of Harry Smith, Nattie Neidhart, TJ Wilson, and apparently Ted DiBiase Jr. as well (Ted's other son is dating Bret's daughter, but still, that's not a reason to lump him in with the Harts). Idiot. I was so looking forward to their debut too. EDIT: Leet, HBK is a 3-time WWE Champion and former World Champion, along with various IC and tag title wins. I will give you this site only once: www.onlineworldofwrestling.comIt surely has links to others, but it is very comprehensive with title histories and wrestler bios detailing accomplishments. This should be enough to where you don't have to constantly ask me about easily-discoverable facts on wrestling history.

Ahh, just like few years ago when the classic (and boring) "Kurt Angle VS Chris Benoit" matches are always playing a lot in Smackdown, probably I remember before Teddy Long was in charge. As for HBK, ahh, can't remember all those records, ever since I didn't watch wrestling a lot only during my holidays. Must have been my absent-mindedness, I apologize, WBTC. Since I saw HBK's concussion, it really hurt me a lot when I saw him like "Without a championship", that's why he is so down in the first place. About his championships, I only can remember his tag teams and World Heavyweight, but not WWE that is.

Smackdown on Friday:
Chuck Palumbo defeated Chris Masters with a rollup. After the match, Masters beat down Palumbo again and put him in the Masterlock.
Jesse & Festus beat two more jobbers. During the match, Deuce & Domino were shown watching it backstage. After the match, Jamie Noble comes in and says Jimmy Wang Yang was talking trash about Cherry. Deuce flies into a rage.
A new Scottish wrestler named Drew McIntyre debuted. He was managed by Dave Taylor and beat Brett Major. Between this guy and the Highlanders, we could do an evil Scottish stable. Throw in Piper, and you have a leader. Probably not, since Vince was pissed that Piper leaked at a convention that he was going to be a nomination at Cyber Sunday, hence he was taken off and replaced by JBL. I'm actuall relieved to hear this, as I thought his cancer had come back.
The Brothers of Destruction beat MVP & Matt Hardy in a non-title match. MVP tried to steal the show, but ended up getting his ass kicked by both Kane and Taker.
Jamie Noble bragged to Vickie Guerrero about setting up Yang and said Vickie was an opportunist herself. She responds by booking him in a match with Khali. Three guesses how that went.
Jimmy Wang Yang beat Deuce in a short match, then was immediately double-teamed by the greasers.
Rey Mysterio and Finlay battled to a double-DQ in a #1 contenders match, when both shoved the ref. The lights went out and Taker stood over both of them. He is now in the match with Batista. Let's get a repeat of Wrestlemania-specifically, the result.
Bound for Glory was tonight.
LAX beat XXX in Ultimate X. Elix and Senshi bumped like crazy, and Homicide had some great spots too. Hernandez ended up grabbing the X.
Fight For Your Right is next. Participants include Jimmy Rave, Lance Hoyt, Havoc, Shark Boy, Petey Williams, Kaz, Motor City Machine Guns, Sonjay Dutt, Voodoo Kin Mafia, James Storm, Eric Young, Robert Roode, Chris Harris, and Junior Fatu. It eventually comes down to Roode and Young. Young gets the quick upset to become #1 Contender! Gives away who's going over in the main event, tho.
Team Pacman debuts a new member, Rasheed Lucius Creed, who is dressed as Apollo Creed from the Rocky movies. He takes the place of Pacman, who can't wrestle because the Tennessee Titans, instead of simply cutting him, would rather make his life miserable. AJ grabs money from Pacman and makes it rain. Killings rolls him up, but Hebner is busy picking up the money. Styles gets the pin, and he and Tomko are the new TNA Tag Champs. Meanwhile, reports indicate this was Pacman's last night in TNA.
Jay Lethal retains the X Title against Christopher Daniels in a disjointed, but fun spotfest.
Steiners vs. 3D: This is a Tag Team Tables Match. Rick gets 3D'd through the first table to make it 1-0 3D. Scott is somehow able to Frankensteiner Ray through the second. 1-1. 3D is about to smash the chairs on Scott's throat again, but the Motor City Machine Guns make the save. D-Von swings a chair at Scott, but misses and gets Ray instead. Steiners bulldog D-Von through the third table to win it.
Knockout Gauntlet comes down to Gail Kim and Roxxi Laveaux. Kim takes it to become the first TNA Women's Champion.
Samoa Joe beats Christian Cage. Matt Morgan stops AJ and Tomko from interfering. Joe gets the rear naked choke in, and Christian taps out.
Monster's Ball: Raven hits a flying elbow on Abyss through 2 tables, but Abyss later hits a Black Hole Slam on Raven onto glass and tacks to get the win. Second year in a row Abyss wins, and second year in a row Raven does the job.
Main event: Sting reverses the Ankle Lock into the Scorpion Deathlock. Karen runs out and distracts Sting and the ref. Nash attacks Sting from behind, but Stinger kicks out of the Olympic Slam. Ref bump, another ref comes down, but Nash pulls him out when he tries to make the count for Sting. Sting gets the Scorpion Death Drop and becomes new TNA Champion! It'll be weird seeing him feud with Eric Young, but I guess they want to build him in a feud against Judas Mesias when he comes back.

Stinks to see Christian Cage's undefeated streak end. I heard it was a good match, though.
Why on earth do they have to call it the "Knockout Championship"? It sounds so silly. Women's Championship is just fine.

King Booker and Sharmell were released today. Disappointing but not really surprising, since things were tense between them and WWE for some time. These past 6 years were a great run, and he finally got that World Title reign. I would've liked to see him win the WWE Title at least once, though.
Daivari was also released. Not much detail, except reports say he asked for it.
Raw: Orton tried to get Regal to sanction a Triple Threat match between his 3 Cyber Sunday opponents. Regal instead books each of them in an individual match against him. Right off is Jeff Hardy, who loses when Kennedy runs down and provides the distraction.
Santino rips on Austin and The Condemned a little more, then beats Val Venis in a continuation of last week. He wins by grabbing the rope during the pin.
Coach chases Hornswoggle through catering and around the arena.
Kennedy beats Orton by DQ when Jeff interferes as payback. Kennedy still technically wins, so Jeff is further buried. Guess they really want to play up HBK.
Vince has some local guy in the ring and calls out Umaga. He says the options for their match will be a Street Fight, to which Umaga promptly throws the kid onto the announce table, beats him with monitors and strangles him with the cord; a First Blood to which Umaga repeatedly gives him the Samoan Spike until he's bleeding out the mouth; and a Steel Cage, to which a cage is lowered, and Umaga rams him into it.
Coach chases Hornswoggle some more. They pass Simmons, who gives his obligatory DAMN.
Jillian comes out to rip on Lillian for her singing, and proceeds to sing Spice Girls until Candice comes out for their match. Both these women have improved dramatically, but Candice gets the quick win. Afterwards, Beth gives a promo. For someone her size, she sounds like an 8-year-old girl.
Cody and Holly have a confrontation backstage. Holly slaps Cody, who gets right in Baldcore Bob's face.
Rory McAllister beats Brian Kendrick in a singles match. Afterwards, the Highlanders give Cade & Murdoch, who were providing commentary, the eye.
Coach chases Hornswoggle into the Diva locker room, then out to ringside. Hornswoggle goes under the ring, so Coach grabs a DYNAMITE DETONATOR, and tries to blow him up! It doesn't work, so Coach goes under the ring to check it out. Hornswoggle comes out and hits the plunger, and we cue cheesy camera shake and smoke under the ring. Coach emerges with his face and clothes singed, Looney Toons style. So cheesy it's funny.
Holly beats Cody again, but Cody got lots of near falls in rapid succession. Afterwards, Holly shakes his head and looks at Cody. I'm no Hardcore Holly fan, but I do like this angle, and think it can build Cody up as a serious contender.
HBK beat Orton by DQ when Kennedy interferes. Jeff tries to make the save, but is tossed out of the ring (I rest my case). HBK still fights them off and hits Sweet Chin Music on Orton.
On ECW, there was to be a handicap match between Morrison, Miz, & V vs. Punk & a mystery partner. The mystery partner turned out to be Kane. Faces got the win with a Kane chokeslam on Miz. After the match, Miz and Morrison get into a confrontation, and Miz gives Morrison a stiff sucker punch and accepts a challenge for another match.
Turns out Estrada and Vickie are working on a talent exchange program. Jesse and Festus are also brought over, and they go over Elijah Burke and Nunzio.
Morrison vs. Miz barely gets underway, when Big Daddy V comes down and beats them both, and shows everyone who WWE wants them to vote for.
Meanwhile the Cyber Sunday card has been set. Choices are as follows:
WWE Title: Randy Orton vs. HBK, Jeff Hardy, or Mr. Kennedy
World Title: Batista vs. Undertaker. Guest ref: JBL, Foley, or Austin
ECW Title: CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V, The Miz, or John Morrison.
HHH vs. Umaga: Street Fight, First Blood, or Steel Cage
Rey vs. Finlay: Stretcher Match, Shillelagh on a Pole, or No DQ.
Matt Hardy vs. MVP: Boxing Match, Wrestling Match, or MMA Match.
Also, the Diva Serach winner will be revealed.
I hope that the two who did not get voted in for the WWE Title will challenge Cade & Murdoch for the Tag Titles, which has happened most years. This way if Jeff and Kennedy win it, both Hardys will have a tag title with their arch-rival and a singles title between the team that the teammates are feuding over. That could set up a great showdown at Survivor Series, as the champs face each other, or they may all be placed on one team.
Anyway, I'll post my votes sometime tomorrow or Thursday.

The time has come. I am now making my Cyber Sunday votes as I post this. Here are my choices, and my reasons for choosing. See above post to be reminded of the options.
WWE Title Match (choose opponent) My choice: Mr. Kennedy Rationale: HBK has done everything a wrestler could ever do in this business. He is a legend and future HOFer as is, and it's time to let someone else have the spotlight. I voted against Jeff for his own good. Between being IC champ and not fitting into WWE's master plan, if he is voted in, it is clear Orton will go over, and Jeff may not get another push for a long time. With Kennedy creating a heel vs. heel match, there is a better chance the title will change hands, and he is certainly ready for main event level.
World Title Match (choose referee) My choice: Stone Cold Steve Austin Rationale: Foley's appearances are too common and lose their luster after a while. JBL doesn't really have a stake now that Rey isn't involved anymore. Austin always makes matches fun, even normally bad ones, and Batista may need that kind of help. Also, his guest spots are infrequent enough to still be a real treat.
ECW Title (choose opponent) My choice: John Morrison Rationale: He and Punk always have great matches. Miz can do other stuff, like feud with Balls. Big Daddy V? Fuhgeddaboudit.
HHH vs. Umaga (choose stipulation) My choice: Steel Cage Rationale: If it's a bloodbath, First Blood will be somewhat anticlimactic. Street Fight may have been alright, but a cage might better mask Umaga's in-ring limitations.
Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay (choose stipulation) My choice: Stretcher Match Rationale: Seems most definitive. No DQ could just degenerate into a brawl with weapons, and there would be no DQ in a stretcher match anyway. Anything on a Pole tends to suck.
Matt Hardy vs. MVP (choose stipulation) My choice: MMA Match Rationale: Scripted boxing invariably sucks. MMA, on the other hand, might be unique and fun.

Whow whow whow, so many updates! I can't keep up with them. Anyway, my choice as follows for the above post.
1. Shawn Michaels 2. Stone Cold (I wanted Foley too, but, I agree, the matches makes more fun with Stone Cold every time he is a special guest ref) 3. John Morrison 4. Street Fight (I normally wanted steel cage, but I would love to give Triple H a street fight, because of, you guessed it, his holy scepter, the sledgehammer) 5. Stretcher (I follow your choice) 6. MMA (Boxing sucks, it's boring! Wrestling seems normal, but I wanted to see some special fights come from a Hardy, let's see if Karate or Taekwondo can bring Matt to a victory)

Sorry I haven't been recapping or discussing. I've been extremely busy these last few weeks, and couldn't even see Smackdown on Friday. From Raw, the notable happening was the debut of Harry Smith, who is going under the name D.H. Smith, beating fellow second-generation star Carlito. Maybe at Survivor Series, they can do two teams of all second-gen stars. Faces would be Smith, Cody Rhodes, Rey Mysterio (technically, since he's Jr.), and Joe Hennig (Curt's son is in developmental) vs. Orton, Carlito, Ted DiBisae Jr., and Chavo Guerrero. Also, a funny segment with Santino making a reference to noted failed gimmick Mantaur, which was interrupted by one of those weird SAVE_US promos. Cyber Sunday results: Rey vs. Finlay ended up being a Stretcher Match. Still, the Shillelagh on the Pole came into play. Rey has a great plancha onto the stretcher and pushes Finlay across the line after pancaking him onto the stretcher. CM Punk's opponent is...The Miz. HOO-rah? He's got talent, though not as good as Morrison. Punk puts on a nice display, and Miz gets some spots in, including a one-man Hart Attack. In the end, Punk retains with the GTS. Shawn Michaels gets the nod for the main event (way to spoil it ahead of time. My fault for not casting huge amount of votes for Jeff and Kennedy), meaning the runners-up square off. Short but fun match, with Kennedy getting a surprise rollup for the win. From what I gather, the IC title didn't change hands. Matt Hardy got injured on Smackdown, and needed stitches, from what I heard, anywhere from 17-35. Thus, Kane faces MVP for the US Title instead. Kane pretty much dominates until MVP bails and swallows a countout loss to retain. WWE Title is, as previously stated, Orton vs. HBK. They get a good match going, but Orton ducks Sweet Chin Music and hits a lowblow to get DQ'ed. Two straight matches end in unclean finishes. HHH vs. Umaga is a Street Fight. Surprising. Seeing a cage suspended over the ring is just too tempting to vote for anything else. Right off, Trips spears Umaga through the wall on the entrance way. They brawl around the stands before taking it into the ring. Trips' segments are pretty cool, but Umaga's are slow and boring. The finish sees HHH getting the win with the Pedigree after ducking the Samoan Spike. Austin is voted as Guest Referee for the World Title Match. They each kick out of each other's secondary signature moves, and Taker kicks out of the Batista Bomb. Batista gets the win after hitting a second Bomb. Tell me they did not just job the Undertaker to Botchtista. Some of the stips and opponents were surprising, but the match results were pretty much in hand. Though I was kind of pulling for Taker to win tonight. Also, no sign of Jericho...again. Already, the Survivor Series main event is rumored to be HHH and HBK (though not officially as DX) vs. Orton and Umaga. Why the hell not add 2-3 more guys each and make it a traditional Survivor Series match? Meh. Meanwhile, Edge is supposed to be making his comeback around then too.
