The only thing I could possibly understand is Arthur, because it has nine seasons and has lots of interaction (of the friendship kind) between the characters, but still. And there's this guy in Arthur fandom who is very obsessed with Sue-Ellen to the point of getting uberly pissed off because she doesn't appear much. (I think he got banned at least once in a yahoo group because of this.)
There are some things that should just... not have such kind of shipping, IMO.
