Yeah I agree, but go discuss this in the 'homosexuality' thread in Other Main.

Of course, two characters of the same gender can be closer friends, but they CANNOT be that close....

Hm.. i agree that it is a bit gross, and most of my girl/girl couples i support are really close friendships, (like 3/5,) im not into the extremes. But some people like it, and i cant blame them. Its not really sick its just wierd with characters from a kids show.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Most sexual preferences are acquired in the teenage years.

This thread isn't worthy of a real response. But still - if you want to discuss homosexuality, go to the "Homosexuality" thread in the "Other Main" area. Edit: Or not.

The "homosexuality" thread is about it in general. Is she talking there about slash KND couples? If then, I strongly disagree. Underage couples are a bit strange if concerning 2 people of the same gender, ok. But you become straight or homosexual only in your teen years, and it is (mostly) done that way in fanfics. you can tolerate that or not. Your choice. But keep your "hate" for slash couples for yourself or express it intelligently. ...I quite wasted my time in this thread *shrugs and goes roleplay*

Why is it that there are couples w/2 girls or 2 boys? That is sick!! It's called homosexuality. Are society is becoming more and more tolerant towards it. And you should try doing the same. People support slash couples because they think the two people go well together. It's just the same as het, only with two guys or two girls instead of a guy and a girl. It's not "sick", it's perfectly normal.

Well, I don't see it as sick. I don't support slash couples but, being a liberal, I agree they can exist. And in my opinion, anyone can make any choice they want. This is like religion. Hating slash is like hating a religion but slash and religion isn't the same thing. It's just a thing of choice. *suddenly reminded of a line from The Planet's Funniest Animals*

May I ask how homosexual KND couples are "sick"? The only difference between young homosexual couples and young heterosexual couples (i.e. 3/4, that you love SO MUCH) is which genders are paired up. Or are you yet another moron that thinks that anyone different from you is sick?

Slash can be annoying when it's slash for the sake of slash, but that happens with het as well.

How about het for the sake of throwing two characters who "look cute/hot" together? 5/The Kid is an obvious example of that.

Yeah, that's the kind of thing I was thinking of when I said that.

Society is becoming more tolerant towards homosexuality, but it's better not to expose the kids (the main audience of this show) to this as they may be too young to understand.

What's there to understand? That boys and girls sometimes long to "like like" their fellow gender, just as other boys and girls feel towards their opposite genders? A lot of kids actually felt those longings, even of course they couldn't quite understand them yet.
