OK, I'm not much of a 1/5 fan (I used to kind of like the couple, but it kind of lost its appeal for me) But I see there are maybe only one of two options for the 1/5 fans:

Accept that Lizzie is Nigel's girlfriend

OR

Use the fact that Lizzie appears in the show—on average—maybe one or 2 times per season to their advantage and interpret any of the 1/5 interaction, hints, etc. any way they want.

Yes. Most 1/5 fanatics and some other 1/non-Lizzie people act like Lizzie appears in every single episode and rant and rave like the end of the world at her presence. Sheesh, she doesn't appear THAT much, and most of the episodes are centered on the main gang anyway...

Yeah, Lizzie's just a girl who knows what she wants, and usually gets it.

I've always pictured Lizzie as one of those little rich "I want a pony!" types. She's just a bit spoiled, not evil.

And it's pretty clear that Nigel is really happy with her ^_~.

Wow, how many times has this thread come back to life Anyways, I know what you all mean, there are alot of annoying couple lovers on the net who will bash anyone who gets in the way of their favourite couple.

For me, I never really went crazy about 3/4....sure I like it and I do find it abit cute but it just seemed alittle cliche. As for Lizzie, people do go overboard with the bashing, I mean they could say why they dislike her but do they really have to act all idiotic? I personaly find Lizzie very annoying and serving little purpose to exsist, but you don't see me perading around shouting about it with abunch of '!!!!!!!!11111/555555' at the end of every sentence.

As for my obsession over 1/5, I'm still quite into it. I can see why some people might find it boring compared to the more 'oppitsites attract' couples 'cause those ones are interesting and you never know what'll happen with it. But I think 1/5 is also a great couple, sure they don't hold alot of surprises but they have a nice quiet relationship that I think truly shines when their alone such as in the fanfic Op: TRUE-LEADUH (I say this as, if it were to happen in the show or how it happens in the good fanfics about the couple)

Besides, ever since people have been getting into other couples (4/5 2/5 1/86 1/3 ) alot of 1/5 fans seem to be converting. So it actually seems to be less of a fan favourite compared to how it was back when the show first started.
