I was about to throw the DVD my sisters got out the window. XD They've watched it soooooo many times. It's just.. too much. And definitely not worth 98 minutes of my evening. Has anybody actually gathered up the courage to sit through the second one? I'm curious as to how it turned out. Judging by the public rating, it's apparently the best movie in the entire universe.

Actually I've heard that Vanessa is going to be in the third movie. Disney forgave her and all her lies.
I went to the store the other day, and seriously all big and bold were the words "ZANESSA" on one of those poppy magizines. And then in like the corner, were like, the rest of the cast, who actually do sing, and sing well, and can act.
And you know who I feel sorry for? Drew Steely. he did the singing of Zac in the first movie, and he gets no love. He gets no fame, except for being on one of the disney cds, sing a christmas song.
But then theres Mr. Fakey Efron all singing and posin, and gets millions of crap offered to him. ANd his "partner" Vanessa who's all faky and famous for being with"the fabulous zac"
Haaaa, Drake Bell was right, in five years, no one is even going to remember theese guys's music.
hell, dont get me started on how fake the Jonas Brothers are, and how much they suck.

That's messed up! He deserves some fame other then the concert tour! Aaaaaw, the Joanas Brothers get no love? I actually like them a bit, they don't over do anything. They're just doing what they love . . .singing. And honestly, they have a few good songs out there. Where did Drake Bell say that? Internet interview or magazine? o.O

I hate the Jonas Brothers. They take a song, change some lyrics, and bam, a hit. Not exactly talent. Have you noticed all their "hits" have been made before, and all they do is change a few words. Drake said in a net interview about how in five years, people won't remember the tween music. and for a reference click here

The Music Industry REALLY needs to spend more effort finding people with actual talent.
Sting, Guns & Roses, Queen, Pink Floyd, Madonna, and frikin Weird Al have ALL stood the test of time. Not a single new "sensation" happening this days is gonna make it like that.

Music today is mostly about flash. Forget about talent. They can drown anyone's mediocre voice out in a sea of production.
Look at Britney Spears. No one's going to remember her for her "music". She was never ABOUT "music" in the first place!
I don't even know what they play on Top 40 stations any more. I haven't listened to one in over 10 years. (I'm a "rock snob". ;D )

I dont listen to the top 10 stations, and I'm a teenager. Seriously, all the tweenie artists will go out withina year or so. Drake Bell shall not be one of them.

Yeah, I'm not sure myself why the first HSM was so popular. The plot was like any other Disney Channel Movie. The main character tries to figure whether to do this or that (Go Figure and Eddie's Million Dollar Cookoff). I do admit some of the songs were good, but everything else was just blah.

Vanessa's going to be in High School Musical 3? Wow. I guess they were afraid that the HSM series would fall apart without them. I do believe that it was just an accident, but their making a big mistake. Has there been any protests?

Actually, I have to admit, I love the song "Fabulous".
However, is does NOT belong in any musical. Some songs just don't. It's the sort of semi-silly song that's perfect for AMVs, and just jumping up and down on the couch to.

I like Fabulous, it's a good song. I also really like Humahumanukanukapua'a(i know i spelt that wrong xD) and I love the the outtake of the scene. For those who havent seen the outtake, its basically Sharpay and Ryan singing the song, and Sharpay is performing it just for troy, trying to get him to do the song, and this makes Ryan angry.

My favorite has to be the song that Chad and Ryan sing on the baseball feild. . .yes, I totally forgot the name.
Other than that song, I really don't like any of the songs in HSM. Especially Music in You. *cringe* My little brother watches the movies every time they air on Disney Chanel and then even after it's done he sings (really bad I might add) each one a bubillion and one times. Annoying much. <<

I think they're just trying to make this film a classic (especially with the music), and their attempts are pretty sad. "We're All In This Together," I'll admit, I liked from the first movie. But not in the movie, and especially not with the characters dancing. Just the song itself is pretty fun to listen to.
Other than that, the music's pretty dreadfully corny and downright annoying.
