Cant' really speculate much on this, though I'd guess one of them may be a real estate agent, as Lizzie seemed well-read on real estate (SNOWING), but she may have just as easily done some independant reading on the subject.
I have the feeling her mom wouldnt' be a housewife (though we never actually get any clues as to the mothers' careers for ANY of the kids).

Maybe Lizzie's dad would be a househusband?
Okay, here's a little question/situation I've been pondering...
We all know Lizzie gets jealous if Nigel's with another girl...but could Nigel ever get jealous of Lizzie being with another boy? What kind of situation would inspire jealousy for Nigel, anyway? Would he get all paranoid and overreact?

I have thought out this so often... and it's the theme of one of my many to-be-drawn fancomics. Once I finish the TT one.
Just hanging around another guy probably wouldn't bother him anymore than it does Lizzie (in HOLIDAY, 2 implied that he and 10 were togetehr together). Now, if there was some guy who seemed to always be hanging around Lizzie, maybe someone she's tutoring, and he perhaps brings her a flower to thank her, and after he aces the test, wants to take her to dinner to celebrate... yeah, I think Nigel'd get a little nervous. Probably follow them on the date and interuppt things and make a huge mess out of the place.
Then it turns out he's already got a girlfriend and really just wanted to thank Lizzie for helping him in his hardest class.

Ah, yes...and then, in true Warburtonesque fashion (I just invented a new adjective!), the guy turns out to have also been getting information about Nigel from Lizzie (unbeknownst to her...) Perhaps Nigel would have covered up his jealousy earlier by saying this guy could be an enemy agent? ...what? I like dramatic twists I'm not saying it's EXACTLY how it would end...

Hm... maybe. I do like twists, but I doubt Lizzie would give up any useful information.
More likely she'd talk about his Rainbow Monkey Underwear, the time they went to the carnival, those romantical fireworks at the dance, etc.
Actually, I wouldnt' mind seeing Lizzie dump Nigel for a while, maybe because she's tired of being second place to his job. Even get a new boyfriend soon after. Make Nigel suffer for a while. Of course, they'd all 3 get mixed up in a deadly mission, and while hiding, Lizzie would latch on to Nigel shaking.
"Oh, Nigie, I'm scared." "Dont' worry, Lizzie. I'm going ot protect--" "Ahem..."
They both notice her NEW boyfriend.
"Oh... right." Lizzie goes to him, but can't help looking back at Nigel, showing she really does still love him.

Now THAT sounds plausible...but we know they'd end up together in the end.
Hmmm...maybe something like that happens in GIRLFRIEND?

Actually, i would LOVE for that to happen in GIRLFRIEND.
As for the end of that, if I knew what their first date had been, I could say for certain. As is, I would make their first date him asking if he could buy her a soda. So the ending would be as follows:
Nigel stared blankly at the half-empty glass before him. "Guess I've really lost her then."
Wally and Kuki exchanged worried glances. Abby put a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry, man. Just... give it time."
Nigel brought the straw to his lips, but couldnt' find the strength to sip. "I just wish... I dont' know. That I could start over. Did she really ask for so much? A date every now and then? If I could just start over..."
He trailed off, but his worried teammates didn't need to hear the rest.
They finished their drinks in silence. All except Numbuh 1, who blindly watch the ice melt in his cherry coke. "We're heading back for the treehouse, Numbuh One." Hoagie lowered his head, trying to get within their leader's line of vision. "You coming?"
"You guys go ahead. I'm going to... finish my soda."
The four kids, after a gentle prod from Numbuh Five, exited the speakeasy, leaving Nigel alone at the booth. But he didn't hear the door close. Nor did he hear it open again, or notice the footsteps of someone walking through the near empty bar to the counter. Not until he caught the flash of a yellow shirt from the corner of his eye.
Lizzie sat with her back to him, and sat alone.
Nigel glanced around quickly. Her boyfriend might have been parking his bike and heading down the stairs even know. But no footsteps treaded down the secret path. After a minute, Nigel picked up is watered-down soda, swallowed the lump in his throat, and walked to the bar.
The glass clunked too loudly when he placed-- or more accurately, dropped-- it on the counter. Lizzie still hadn't looked at him, so he cleared his throat. "Hi, there, um... Lizzie."
Brown eyes peeked at him sideways. "Hi, Nigel."
He drummed his fingers nervously on his leg. "So... is your... boyfriend meeting you here?" Please say no, please say no, please say no...
"Actually, we broke up."
Nigel almost fell over. "You what?"
"Well," Lizzie began, sounding more like her old self, "it just wasn't working out."
"Oh." Nigel's eyes lit up behind his sunglasses. 'Oooh..."
He caught her glancing at him again, and for the first time in weeks, Nigel's heart didn't feel like lead.
"So... can I buy you a soda?"

Eh, that pun works best for 5/H.
But that's for the other topic, which I think I will go to right now for Abby's thought on a possible Nigel/Lizzie breakup.

*BUMP* Okay, let me bring up a topic similar to the one Suki brought up on the 5/H thread. We know Nigel and Lizzie are gonna get married and have Shirley, so...how would Nigel propose? (Or Lizzie...she might get impatient )

I've thought about this. I see him waiting until the day she graduates from real estate school. He'll take her to dinner to celebrate, have the ring in his pocket, try to pop the question... And keep getting interuppted with calls from the KND, since he's still in contact with them, the rest of Sector V, villians trying to capture the interuppting KND, and other stuff. In between these interupptions, he keeps trying to ask, but never gets it out. Meanwhile, Lizzie's getting really irritated, Nigel's getting frustrated, the romantic restaurant is in chaos until Nigel finally just stands up and yells for everyone to shut up so he can propose to his girlfriend.
Oops.
Not the romantic senario he had in mind, but Lizzie being Lizzie doesn't care. She pulls a teary "Oh, Nigie!" and glomps him.
Then snaps into wedding planner mode and jabbers off on a long tangent while the chaos around them resumes, and Nigel's wishing they had just gone bowling instead.

I could see something like that happening in college or maybe even high school.
