Well, we all know Mr. W said we were going to see some of Lizzie's family (though he didn't say when...personally, I think it's gonna be in G.I.R.L.F.R.I.E.N.D.), so that question may be answered before the year's over.

I'm guessing Lizzie'll turn out to be a lot like her mother. Perhaps her mother is always after her dad to eat right, dress well, etc. Maybe her parents frequently have "dates" to keep the romance in their relationship. They get all dressed up and go somewhere. That would explain where Lizzie's tendency to get all dolled up for any little date comes from. It'd also explain her frustration with Nigel not taking her out more often.
