How about the fact that Lizzie is not ugly just because she's fat? ><

And personally, I think Wally's WAY cuter than Nigel. (Nigel's boring to draw, anyway.)

Yah, but I think everyone in this thread pretty much agrees she's not ugly. So talkng would pretty much be "She's not ugly!" "Yah!" "Yah!" "I muchly concur!"

Tho you do have a point about Nigel, his head shape is just....kinda football. He looks like an older version of Stewie from Family Guy. But still, he's adorable in his own way.

I had an interesting thought: Lizzie has had 3 guys show interest in her. Nigel, her boyfriend; 65.3, whom she flirted with to get information; and President Jimmy, who went evil just to win her heart (which didn't work). Nigel has had Lizzie, his obviously devoted girlfriend; Numbuh 10, who it turns out wouldn't be romantically interested in him even if we weren't her cousin; and Katie who was part of an in-your-dreams senario.

Nigel's not exactly popular with the girls, is he? XD

Jeez, why do people judge couples on their physical appearances? It's completely shallow!

Besides, Lizzie ISN'T ugly. Remember RECESS?

And as for Nigel's looks...well, he's not bad-looking (but I am starting to wonder about why there are so many bald main characters in kid's TV...Nigel...Aang...Omi...)

She did look gorgeous in RECESS. It's constantly indicated that she is VERY fashion-conscious ("Where did you get that sarong? Gorgeous! I didn't think it was right for my body type...", "So? what do you think? Is it too much? Yes? No? Yes? I don't know... I kinda like it! But maybe it is a little much..."). That girl must have a collection of formal gowns and swimsuits. XD

Also, by that quote from HOLIDAY and the ending from LUNCH, it appears to me that Lizzie is not unaware of her shape. Instead when it counts (date, formal gathering, swimming) she tries to chose outfits that work for her shape. Hence the ability to be both heavy AND attractive.

She also has really nice hair. I can't get my hair to do half the stuff she does. And since she's only had 3 styles, I mean the Princess Leia buns in DATE and the updo in RECESS.

As a somewhat chubby girl myself, I would love to raid Lizzie's closet of flattering clothes ;D

(Which kinda reminds me of a dream where Lizzie was in a dress similar to my homecoming outfit...but that's another story.)
