Well, I want to go see some movies in theaters this year. Let's see...
Meet The Spartans - I want to go see that, it looks funny, plus it makes fun of movies and shows, plus Britney Spears, and the dude from AI last year!
Juno - I think it looks like a good teen comedy. ^^ It looks good to me. That's my opinion.
The Passenger - I read articles on it coming out in the Spring or Summer in theaters. The real reason I want to go see it because Elijah Wood is starring in it. I bet it'll be good. I hope!
So I created this topic for people to chat about the movies they're looking forward to see this year.

Cloverfield looks to be quite promising.
Juno looks funny.
Mama Mia, simply because I like musicals.
Wall-E. Pixar. 'Nuff said.
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting.

It beat Phantom by 8 miles. NOTHING beats Phantom. I'd like to see Cloverfield, since that seems like the kind of thing that's better on the big screen. I heard the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything is really fun, and I love Veggie Tales.

It beat Phantom by 8 miles. NOTHING beats Phantom. I'd like to see Cloverfield, since that seems like the kind of thing that's better on the big screen. I heard the Pirates Who Don't Do Anything is really fun, and I love Veggie Tales. I could never get into phantom. I know most of the songs, but then.. I fell asleep during the show. I guess I couldnt get into it. it started to bore me; the guys behind me were trying to fake sick to get out of it. It was rather amusing. Once you see Mama Mia you might say that, it's upbeat, and it's more introactive with the audience. Plus they do a concert at the end after curtain call. it's halirious. I want to see Rent, Avenue Q, and possibly A Chours Line on Broadway. And some others. Ugh, Veggie Tales. I know the song the movie is based off by heart, and now, the Veggie tales annoy the crap out of me. Of course, working at Chuck E Cheese where you hear those songs for what seems like a million times a day, for a few months, will annoy you. The only Veggie tale song that didn't annoy me at work was Sport Utility vechile

My friends and I walked out of Juno after about 50 minutes. It was really overwritten. And Cloverfield frustrated me.
Haha! We used to watch Veggie Tales in Sunday school. Good times. Wouldn't see the movie, though.

The movie thats on the top of my list I want to see is College. And it comes out april of 08, and i'll be 17 by then and can legally see it in theaters~! I've been wanting to see this movie based on the Alice Books, called"Alice Upsidedown" I don't know when it comes out, but the actor playing her brother is Lucas Grabeel, and the girl playing alice is the girl that played"max" in zack and cody, and played"wendy" in an episode of Drake and Josh, and is actually in a lot of tv shows as guest stars.
I'm so saaad. Rent was supposed to come to my area right near my birthday, and I was going to see the off boradway version. But the stupid wirters strike killed that, and I can't see it on broadway, because I heard it's going off June 1 08.
"P.S I love you" that's a movie? It was the title of a fanfic I read last week that tore at my heart. The song it's based on is beautiful :]
I reccomend everyone see Mean Creek. It's a really touching-noncomedy movie.

I'm looking forward to see HP & The Half-Blood Prince. My friends got me hooked up to it.
I'm not much in seeing movies these days. Sigh, I wish I could go at cinemas for some time...

Ugh, Meet the Spartans looks so awful. Parody movies are no longer clever as they were in the days of Mel Brooks and the Zucker Brothers. Now it's just toilet humor, overdrawn slapstick, and random pop culture references.
Thus far, Strange Wilderness looks like it could be funny. I know Harold and Kumar 2 will be coming out later this year.

Hey, they guys who did Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz did it right. The first is barely 4 years old and already a cult classic.
Other than that, there's really no movies I wanna see unless they're already out on DVD, and have been for 10 years, I just haven't gotten around to seeing them until now.
