This has been a growing issues as of late, partly due to the adoptable threads and signature request pictures. If you want to add a new picture, please make sure it does not exceed the signature height limit (We don't mind it exceeding a few text lines, but nothing beyond that). See the picture of about how large here. If mods see signatures larger than this, we will remove the picture (leaving the url) and a note to resize it. Usually, if you just have small pictures such as kitties or plushies, STACK THEM HORIZONTALLY <------>. This means no spaces between the /img][img tags. If the pictures are too large and start to stack vertically, then you should consider resizing the picture, or asking someone to resize it (if you had the signature made for you). I'm not trying to be mean about this, I like signatures. It helps me keep track of who's who, since I'm bad with names and all the "numbuh so and so"s. But please, signatures are not your personal homepage. Keep 'em small, please. Thanks! ;D

*Noddle* Or you can make animated gifs to include ALL of your stuff in a smaller space. If someone needs help resizing their kitties or animating them, they're free to ask me. ^^

There's a problem with animated gifs too - look at my userbar in the signature. I'm using my mod powers to make this an announcement.

Thank you very much for posting this. I'm sure this will be a lesson for new members. ... IF they read. -.- Animated signatures aren't that bad, but if they're too large, then the size of the siggie can be quite ginormous. Besides, the dial-up users will sersiously die. The computer freezes and.. TADA! wait another hour or two for your page to load. Animated siggies = dangerous. ... err... My siggie's okey, right? When I was making it, I made sure the size of it would fit the forum rules. ^^;

I think mine is okay, is it? Your sig is the perfect size! Your avatar is a really really huge file, though... about 980 kb. We said in the rules about 250 for the sig, but I think that applies to avatars as well. It's cute, but mind changing it? Perfect! ;D

*drags image over signature* ...whew, okay, it's smaller ^^ That's good. But considering I still have 2 pending spawn kitties in the future, I might be forced to go gif...a sad prospect, but whatever XD And yeah, I've noticed a lot of people with HUGE sigantures filled with everything they ever got and not bothered to resize, so these rules are definitely a good idea.

Crazyandlazy, your sig is okay. It only goes over by a text line. I'm just worried about those who have sigs twice as large as the limit. ^^;;

I think the height may be okay (though not too sure..) But is the length all right? I change it every so often anyway, but I just want to make sure. ^^

You just have to link here it as you would a regular gif. Although I would edit your icon too if I were you...

Why? Is the file too big. I had it made by numbuh animation, so I guess I could ask her to edit it. And when I upload the file on photobucket video it comes out with just an image not a video, should I just upload it in normal image?
