Yes with the following modification: There's no password. The, ahem, Mature Roleplayers ask to be allowed access and they get added to a special group of users (I assume proboards supports this) which can see the board. The rest of the forum sees nothing and is thus happy.

YAYS so is it agreed? The Mods and Admins can choose a small handfull of mature roleplayers who can see the board.. Also maybe the mature roleplayers can also access the Mature Discussion?

There is a problem however. Only admins can make user groups, mods lack the power. Do we have any admins handy?

But I thought she gave the mods every power except to change the colors of the board and stuff? (If she did, I wouldn't know which RPer to select because I don't go into the roleplays.)

not to bump or anything, but i'd like to share some insights. i hope you allow me ^^
i agree with your idea Valerie. Esp about the most obvious reason: this is a forum for a KIDS show. KIDS next door. Although I am a year above the required age (and about 3 more days until I am two years above the age), I still feel that it needs to be acted upon since, yes, who knows, kids are surfing in here too.
but then, i also agree with comsie, beckie and 1024 about knowing the responsibility you have when you join a vast forum. vast leads to many, which leads to various, which leads to difference in topics, tastes, etc.
I'm not against anything. We all have different tastes of topics, etc and I am open with that. But like what the rest of the people agreed upon, I think it's best to have a Mature Roleplaying Board.
or how about, create a board for Mature Discussions. It would include several subboards according to (a few selected boards from) the original outline (Mature Roleplay, Mature ReaL Life, Mature Romance, etc)
and if ever the "selected-users-only" option exists, I'd go with that.
But whatever the mods/admins or noble staff members decide, I'd go with their decision. I do hope people don't react violently on this suggestion.

I searched around, and proboards does not give the option of only certain members being able to view and post on a board (minus staff). It does have the option of having it be an invisible board, where you can only access it if you know the URL.
"Selecting "yes" will make this board not show up on the main page or forum jump. The only way to access it will be by knowing the URL to the board. "
It seems like a good solution to me. That way, people won't get curious or upset if they see a board but can't access it.
