There are people called +Anima who are part animal, and they are shunned in society. A little boy, Cooro (part crow) is going on an adventure... to where, I don't know. But on the way, he rescues Husky, a boy who's part fish, and dresses up as a girl in the circus, to play a mermaid. But he's rescued by Cooro, and they travel together, then they meet Senri, who has an eye patch and is part bear. He also doesn't talk, they all travel together for a while. Then they meet Nana, who's part bat. She's adorable, and Husky doesn't like her. But Cooro does ^^ Which is why I suspect Husky doesn't like her.
That was a bit long-winded, but yeah. That's the first volume.

My friend is going to do L, and we've got a guy doing Light, and another friend of mine is cosplaying as Ryuk. My best friend was going to do REM, but then she bailed on me at the last second. *sniffle*

Flesh-colored sandels with very thin straps. Or better yet, ones with CLEAR straps...
Or wear shoes till you get to the con, then take them off.

I'm not sure I'd advise that... one of the few times we saw L in a social enviroment, he *did* wear shoes...he just didn't wear socks. You have no idea what could be on the floor of whereever it's being held.

I think there's some kind of plastic you can wear on your feet... My friend did that when she went as the Ring girl for Halloween once. Hey, has anyone watched Tenchi Muyo? I want to get an opinion before I watch. It seems interesting.  |

Eh. Not my favorite. It's okay. Depends on your personal preferences.
Anybody here like Tenjho Tenge? That's the only thing in my anime collection that I can't get people into. I *love* it. I have the first 4 dvds, an action figure of Maya Natsume, and the first 2 books.

Hey, has anyone watched Tenchi Muyo? I want to get an opinion before I watch. It seems interesting. I've seen a few episodes. It's a pretty interesting series. I'd probably buy the DVDs if I ever found them cheap. |
