Yea it's violent, yea it's full of not-quite-christian imagery, but it's still fun... at least, it's much better than today's "pretender" FPSes like Half-Life and Halo. Oh, James! You and your disliking to most modern video games again! But I do like Doom.

Oh, James! You and your disliking to most modern video games again! But I do like Doom. Well, if modern video games would stop being so bad, I would stop hating them. ^__^ It's as I said once on a Doom forum: "I personally considered and still consider Doom to be basically the epitome of first-person shooting, because there are so many things done well in Doom that haven't really been done well since, and a lot of modern FPSes feel "toned down." For example, in one of the levels of the shareware Doom I had an instance where I killed two monsters then went down a hall, only to see a spark hit a wall and hear a gunshot behind me. I turned, shot a monster, and suddenly something was hitting me, I turned, another monster, killed it, then there was another one, and so on. I've never gotten this kind of tension in Half-Life, where the monsters are always right in front of you and there's never any more than three at one time."

Doom...I heard from some of my friends that game's cool. *makes a mental note to play it*
But anyway, I don't play video games very often (despite the fact I have a PS2 and an N64 in my room), but my all-time favorite games have to be the N64 Mario Party games. I have 2 and 3, and I plan to sometime get the first one.
As for other games: FFX-2, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy III, Inuyasha: A Feudal Fairy Tale, Tetris, Mario Tennis, and any and all DDR games are my favorites.

Oooh, I forgot about DDR... I suck at it, but it's fun all the same. I probably suck because I only have a gameboy and have to go to an arcade to play it in the first place, but that's besides the point.
^^ I like the songs "Seniorita" and "Speed Over Beetoven" the best, even though both are spelt wrong by me. ^^V

Yeah, I suck at it too. But it's still fun! As for my favorite song, it's definately "Butterfly" from 2nd Mix.
"Ay-yi-yi I'm your little butterfly, green black and blue make the colors in the sky..."

My favorite video games currently are... 1. Soul Calibur 2 2. Final Fantasy Tactics 3. Entire Seiken Densetsu series 4. Final Fantasy X 5. Entire Puyo Puyo series 6. Kingdom Hearts And games that I enjoy a lot (as in, I like to play them but I don't do fanart of them (which I know is kind of a weird method of classification )) include Super Smash Bros. Melee, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Mario games (esp. Mario Party games and Mario Kart games), Tales of Phantasia, Pokemon games (I like the silver/gold/crystal ones the best), and Hamtaro games (XD). And there's also a video game that I've barely played, but I still like it a lot and draw fanart for it: Final Fantasy VII. I've only played it when my brother was off doing something and he'd say, "Okay, I'm trying to build the characters up, so just walk around in this area and fight enemies," and I'd be like, "Okay!" or when he was raising chocobos, I would help a bit. But most of the time, I'd sit next to him and watch him play, so I know enough about the game to put it as a favorite, but I haven't really played it. Also, strangely, a few weeks ago, when my brother bought Soul Calibur 2, I was in the store with him, saying stuff like, "Ew, I don't want that game!" but he replied, "Well, I'm paying for it, so it doesn't matter," but now, oddly enough, I play it more than he does and I'm way more obsessed with it. It's strange how it managed to crawl up to the top of my list, when my first impression of it was, "Ugh, I'm not buying that." ^.^ EDIT: Oops, I also forgot to add Civilation II/III. The thing that got me playing those games were the advisors in Civilization II. I loved them.

Its really incredible how much love for VII endures even after all this time. Not even the other FF's have been able to duplicate that. It still appears on the top 10 pages visited on www.gamefaqs.com from time to time, even after almost 7 ( no pun intended) years now, its insane. Ai, I forgot to mention Tactics. I love that game a lot.

I have three favorite games:
1. Animal Crossing. This is just addicting. I love going around and trying to find things and selling things and waiting for things. Just doing stuff with things. And I love Sven and Pierce (a blue goat and a blue hawk).
2. DDR This is just a fun game. I have the whole rig, playstation 2, metal dance pad, wide screen (well, wide when you compare it with the other tv's in the house).
3.Parapara paradice I've only played this once becuase it's in the arcade at the mall, and I haven't been in a while. I don't even know how old it is.
