Since we've been at it in this section, I've decided to give it a go with another topic. Here's my list of favorite games.
Super Smash Bros. Melee Soul Blade (Or Soul Edge, the title on the arcade.) Soul Calibur (I was a bet disappointed with II) Resident Evil games Mega Man games Final Fantasy VI (It's a III in America.) Breath Of Fire III Warcraft games(Despite how bad the plot has become in Frozen Throne.) Kings Quest games
I'm also fond with a lot of Nintendo and Capcom games.

I don't know if I can say "favorites" because many games I really like all have their own pros and flaws. But if I had to choose I'd say:
- Final Fantasy 4, the second best music in the SNES FF's.
- Final Fantasy 6, the best music of the SNES FF's, good story (at least until the World of Ruin, then it goes on the downside quite a bit), and decent battle system (though letting everyone learn every magic spell almost entirely eliminates the use of their special command).
- Phantasy Star 4, the best as well as the only actually good battle system of the PS series (the other ones kinda sucked), great music, good story and even better cutscenes (the anime-ish comic-style scenes). I really loved this game, I think this is the best Phantasy Star game ever (I haven't played the Online series).
- The Wild Arms series, though the third one was the worst of them gameplay and storywise. Otherwise the series is pretty nice. But let's just hope the next installment makes up for part 3's disaster.
- All the original Mega Man games. Sure the gameplay is mostly the same but it's just fun, okay? I wish it hadn't ended with part 8, while the X series still continues...
- The Mega Man X games, though lately it has been gradually more tedious and annoying because of those accursed Reploids you need (well, there aren't required for progression but they have power-up items) to rescue in X6 and X7. The difficulty is insane in both of those games, too, especially X6 in Xtreme mode.

Ooo, another King's Quest fan!
Anyway... I like most Sierra adventure games (this includes King's Quest plus similar series: Space Quest and Quest for Glory).
the Ancient Land of Ys series.
Dragon Warrior, of course.
Mega Man, Ninja Gaiden, Legend of Zelda, and Metroid (all during the NES era, though I liked Super Metroid too).
The Romance of the Three Kingdoms series by Koei (the first two in particular).
And of course, the king of games... Jago (an electronic version of the board game Go).
Like the movies thread, I'm sure there's ones I like that I didn't list... such as Blaster Master, Super Mario Kart, Chrono Trigger, NBA Jam...

- Phantasy Star 4, the best as well as the only actually good battle system of the PS series (the other ones kinda sucked), They weren't so bad.. they were just simplistic, but it sufficed for the games they were in. Honestly, I haven't played much of PS4 but I failed to see how it's system was any different than PS3's. It didn't end with part eight... currently the most recent game of the original series is "Mega Man and Bass." Personally though, I wish the series had ended with part six.

I grew up on the old Sierra games! I've been into them ever since I first watched my mom or dad played them when I was a kid! Hmmm, I better shut up so I don't change the subject. (I might post a new topic for Sierra game fans one of these days! )

Ah, I remember King's Quest 5 & 6 but never played the others. T'was good games, they were, but also tough if you don't know what you're doing. And there's one thing I forgot to mention: TETRIS!

I actually managed to nab the King's Quest, Space Quest, and Quest for Glory collections back when they were new... and I'm glad I did. Those collections now go for like hundreds on Ebay because they're so rare. Anyway, I remembered a few more favorites. These are from a system called the TurboGrafx-16, so it's possible you haven't played them (right... like I DON'T have a tendancy to always talk about games only I was around for): -Bonk's Adventure. -Devil's Crush (the best video pinball game EVER).

I like video games, but my dad won't let me have anything other then a gameboy and my computer, so my games are kinda limited...
1. Tetris (of course) 2. The Sims ('cause I sorta want to be an architect) 3. Golden Sun: The Lost Age (is good fun) 4. Bubble Trouble (a computer game... mindless fun) 5. EV Override/Nova (computer games: Nova is the sequal) 6. Aperion (comp. game... it's like Centipede on drugs) 7. ...Almost anything by Ambrosia SW... (4-6 all made by 'em) 8. CIVILIZATION TWO! (Besides Tetris, this is the godly game)

I just wish I *had* it... before I got my laptop, I played Civ2 on the family computer... unfortunatly, my mom was soooo hooked on the game that she never got off and finally, desprate to quit playing, she deleted the game and destroyed the disc. *cries* And I'm broke and can't buy it for myself. I miss Civ2...

Not where I live. Population 1700 town, we don't even have a Wal-Mart. *sigh* besides, the Wal-Mart that's nearby doesn't sell mac games. I wouldn't be able to buy it even if I did find it.
