I'd like to think so as well just to cut the actors and creators some slack, but I was oddly disappointed. I know it's been over a year, but it's what I always think of now when I think of KND, which is a rotten shame because KND was an enjoyable show during the first few seasons. The creative genius the show once was seemed to tumble after that one bit in INTERVIEWS (although it was a gradual process throughout the last couple seasons). While it was an interesting idea to show them all grown up, the live-action was redundant. It made the live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles seem like a good idea.

Krossfire-- but I'm assuming it was one of those creative decisions made in an attempt to make the episode more fun. Perhaps. I don't know if kids had the attention span long enough to take in all talkie scenes had they made the finale like that. Still, it'd be fun to see Numbuh 1 having a flashback of him doing mission with Numbuh 60 or something. KND was an enjoyable show during the first few seasons. I always thought the earlier seasons were bad, partly because they're still fleshing out the KND lore. At that time it was just a bunch of brats living in a gigantic treehouse annoying their neighbors from time to time. Once it has established that the KND is a global organization with specific goals and having their own lore, things are starting to get interesting. It got better in the mid of season 2, and reached it peak at season 5.

My friend and I were discussing KND the other day (...a pair of 20 year olds who has nothing better than that to talk about. Sad, but still...) anyways, his conclusion was that Kids Next Door went down hill the moment Mo Willems stopped working on it (of note: he is an avid fan of "Sheep In the Big City" and "Don't Let the Pidgeon Ride the Bus", so he is biased in Mo's favor). To an extent, I agreed with him, though I thought Mr. Warburton was doing fine with his new team.
Yes, I think the live action could have been better, but it really wasn't that bad. I didn't like how mean Kuki had become, or that the actor playing Wallie had a very bad accent (a lot of people began to claim that Wallie was British because that's what his accent sounded like to them). Abby was...all right. Hoagie was actually perfect in my mind. My problem still stems from the end where Abby says "he fell for it", or whatever that line was. It calls into question what parts were made up and which parts weren't.
I'd much rather have had another movie like Operation: ZERO, where a villain is defeated, hopefully permanently. It might have been nice to see them take Father down once and for all. Hell, even show the team all getting decommissioned at the end. Yeah, it'd be sad, but finales are for ending things, for tying up loose ends and *hopefully* giving the series a sense of accomplishment and the feeling of being complete. INTERVIEWS didn't do that for me.

Okay.... Freaky thing happened to me at the end of INTERVIEWS. I got my memory of all things KND wiped. For about 5 months. Very creepy, almost as if I was an actual KND operative being decomissioned. The weird thing, though, is I got my memory back when I started 8th grade.

I agree with you about feeling decomisioned, for 4 years loving KND and in a moment these happen? I cry soooooooooo much
Well, in my case, the movie of INTERVIEWS starts in Mexico on April 18 2008, and on December 25 2007 I had my 13th birthday. So I feel really bad as if the destiny because I had 13... well, is hard to explain but I think you understand me.

I was wondering that. Maybe numbuh 1 didn't leave and he made up a last name like father did. He ended up spying for the teenagers and eventually the adults. my love of 1-362 made up my mind. oh maybe numbuh 2 had a bunch of pillows stuffed up his shirt, the real numbuh 4 hired some one to play as him. ^_^/

But unfortunately she did proclaim that he was returning only recently in the sincere words, "Welcome back." I suppose that implies he'd been away for all that time. Mr. Warburton has a way of keeping mysteries just that. Perhaps he left it open for fan theories. But you could be right. *laughs* I once told a fellow forum member (she's been gone for a while now) that perhaps the older Sector V operatives had made up the part about them being married. XD At the time, we were in denial that Numbuhs 2 and 5 had gotten married because, well, we were supporters of 1/5. But again, he always leaves room for fan theories. That's both nice and cruel of him.

I'm serious, Kuki pretended to be like her mom. The real numbuh 4 hired some one to play as him. Numbuh 1 wasn't really gone. Numbuh 2 had pillows up in his shirt. Numbuh 5 she just played along.

I really dislike this episode I made a list why I disliked it. -Was Sector V's memory erased ? -Abby's leadership skills? -Wally's confession? -Kuki's personality when she got older -GKND real or not? I'll have to give Operation I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. 3/10. I'm sorry but that is just the way I feel. I'd rather recommend Operation Z.E.R.O. it was much better.
