I had completely forgotten about that. ^^
Am I the only one who found that ineffective? The battle scene between Nigel and Father in GROW-UP was even more intense than Sector V against Father as a dragon. I think it was because it was too brief. All they had to do was jump around, tossing each other Numbuh 5's hat, and then let the hat inflate to defeat him.
But oh well. Apparently, there wasn't much room for anything more in the episode. The good-bye scene was intense enough for me anyway.

@dragon Fasha It's weird, they could have made him turn into a dragon in GRADUTES if they wanted to. Since... it was KND around animal based. XD
@goodbye scene The goodbye scene made me cry. Especially when Numbuh 2 packed Nigel's stuff. Their goodbye made me cry the most.

I didn't cry, but it was close. Honestly, you'd think that KND being a cartoon and all, the goodbye would be like a "Bye Nigel! Have fun!" but it was so much more than that. And really, that's what I like about Codename: Kids Next Door. It's different than a lot of other cartoons.
I liked the scene because it was a classic Sector-V-is-a-team moment. Plus I enjoyed the music.
Woah, I just realized I passed the 500-post mark. I've been promoted to 2x4 Technologist! *confetti*

no idea i like this episode because numbuh4 get married with numbuh3 So... that's the only reason why you liked it? Not because Numbuh One got shipped off to some awesome-great-coolio Galactic team of alien kids that he'll be working with for over thirty years? Or Father unleashing his most powerful form yet, a dragon? Shipping isn't everything you know. um guy, that just my opinion ok sorry if you don't like it ;D

I don't get it.
Aaanyway, how many people it would have ended better if, instead of the GKND thing, that they get decommissioned one-by-one and show how they all deal with that?

I remember that when I first watched it my mom came in and saw live action Numbuh 4 she was like "Does that guy do Numbuh 1's voice?" Sorry just a random thought.

Hello! Just felt like dropping by...
I love Op. INTERVIEWS! When I watched it on Livevideo.com(I wasn't able to watch it on Cartoon Network), I cried when Numbuh 1 was leaving already. But when Numbuh 5 said,"And Numbuh 1, welcome back", I was a bit happy again but still continued crying.

Hehe, the same happened with me. ^^ I was a little teary but happy too. It was sad he spent so many years away from them, but that "welcome back" was a nice way to end it. The first time it aired in the UK my mum and brother were watching it too, and on Numbuh 5's last line, my mum went, "Aww!"

I'm still trying to figure out what the 'truth' behind the episode is, since what Sector V had been telling Father (who must be 70 something by then) doesn't seem like the whole truth, if not an entirely made-up story. Numbuh 5's line 'Yep, we told him everything he wanted to hear' (or something XD) kinda gave me that thought.

I had the same thought; was it the whole truth? Or did they tell him that so he would think Nigel was still up on the GKND and he wouldn't look for Numbuh 1 back on Earth? It still leaves some things to wonder.
