I wish they had given specific examples of how Chad had been "Behind the scenes, helping from the sidelines". That had the potential to be mind blowing...
Like, if there had been some sort of short montage of flashbacks, featuring past episodes where things had worked out conveniently, then showing him in the background, being involved... I think that would've made me feel for Chad a lot more than him just blurting that he's a good guy, with no elaboration.
I still like the twist! It's just that I can understand why it was so obvious to everyone that it was a last minute idea... I would've preferred there to have been some room for speculation.
I also like to think that even though he helped the KND, he had never been too self-sacrificing, and is still the cocky, bitter teenager we know and love. :3
EDIT:
Oh, and T.R.E.A.T.Y. is an amazing episode, what I just said aside. So funny and thrilling, all around. I especially loved all the, like, diplomacy.

Why does he have to disappear if he's not in the Galactic Kids Next Door, instead of being like the other people who knew about it and stuck around? Maybe he did get chosen for something after all, and met up with Nigel again later? Or maybe he's dead, who knows. *bricked* |

Also, What about in E.N.D. when they had him in the holding cell. Villians REALLLYYY give up easily even for a kids show.
