Oh, hey, I think the "magic snot powers" are parodies of Star Trek's "beaming up" thing. (Look at the ship Sector V is on at the end.)
Yeah, all this stuff with 274 came way out of left field. He's not good, don't be silly.
Ah well. Makes for a good story. And hey! Did anyone else notice that "the Steve" was dressed nearly exactly like Nigel, except with hair? It's like he's fighting his teenage self! Go figure.
INTERVIEWS had better explain what the Splinter Cell is about, or fanfiction people will go crazy.

yeah... i'm going to take a guess and say, if the series doesn't get a extended contract..... theres going to be a nice riot. Although currently Treaty is the end of the normal episodes (not including the interviews) so many things are left unexplained... for one thing snot powers???

...yeah, I haven't been here since the Stone Age, basically, but I just saw the episode tonight, and I loved it, dispite some very odd things. I just needed to say what I thought.
(I realize I'm kinda delayed in commenting about this episode, but I watched it when it actually premiered in America.)
But WHOA.
Although he kept abusing Nigel, I couldn't help but not hate Chad in this episode. (In pretty much every episode he was in after END, I found him annoying.) So I sensed that he was a teenage operative within the first half of it.
I thought Sector V (minus Nigel) didn't really do much in TREATY. *shrugs*
Best quote in the entire episode: Numbuh 74.239: (using voice changer) Nigel Uno, I am your father.

Finally saw the episode in the US. The best episode of season six. The fights between Nigle and Chad rocked hard. I can't wait to see what happens in Interviews, I already have a slight nuge at what happens to Nigle from the episode. It would be so cool to see Nigle and Chad on the same team, rivals at the same time.

I saw it too, yeah, beautiful episode.
And wow, the KND really have an Executor-size flying battery or airship. It's so large that it can even outmatch the Eclipse Super Star Destroyer.
Also, it cracks me up at the ending, Nigel Uno I am your father, *Darth Vader breathes*. X)

I've saw the episode also and it was interesting that the Splinter Cell were just operatives that are higher than Numbuh 362...
Man your right Numbuh 1337 (Leet Crew), in the ending of the Darth Vader part, that villain is always iconic.

Indeed it is iconic, especially that "I am your father" quote is very popular for many uses including Darth Vader.

Yeah, this truly is one of the best KND episodes out there. But am I the only one who thought that the "Chad turned out to be good" thing was thought up at the last minute? Well, not the last minute exactly, but I'm not sure if that's what Mr. W planned back when Chad went bad. I mean, if you look back, a lot of things that Chad does/says are things that seem genuinely bad. Do ya get me?

There are several homages to both Star Trek and Star Wars in this episode, but I suppose that's plenty fitting. IMO, the Splinter Cell is, from what I can tell, the equivalent of Star Trek's Section 31--a covert group that's so covert, even the highest levels of the KND don't know about it. For the real sci-fi buffs, the primary plot of TREATY plays tribute to Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Without boring non-Trekkers, it's essentially about the Federation and the Klingons making peace (this was the last of the original series movies, when both sides still hated each other). In the end, covert figures on both sides were secretly working together--all so the treaty would fail and they wouldn't have to work together. I truly expected TREATY to follow suit.
Of course, we all loved the Star Wars "I am your Father" spoof, and I agree with Number 1337--the gihugacarrier looked a lot like an Imperial Star Destroyer. Anyway, if Nigel is going to be drafted by this super covert branch of the KND, I shall miss him. However, I've long suspected that 362 was not really the top of the KND--she's a fine leader, but when it comes to organizations as big as the KND, there are always others pulling the strings. I've been speculating this for some time in so fanfic material I've been prepping, so know that it's official, I jump for glee. Now if only I knew what to expect out of INTERVIEWS...

I finally saw it last night, and really, the only thing I want to say is that I really feel for Numbuh 48 Flavors. Working with ice cream does weird thing to you. It reminded me of when I was in college and worked in the dining hall, usually in the desserts area serving ice cream. I always felt so bad for the less popular flavors (peach yogurt, praline pecan) that were neglected and therefore easy to scoop, while all the popular flavors were hard as rocks and next to impossible to properly scoop. And it drove me nuts!
Also, yeah, Chad not really being evil seriously came out of left field.

This episode was pretty good, and it's like what cRaZyAsiAnGirL said: I thought Sector V (minus Nigel) didn't really do much in TREATY. Also, I did like that Numbuh 74.239 quote and Numbuh Infinity's reaction. ;D

My personal favorite Numbuh Infinity quote went something like this...:
Numbuh Infinity: (straightening tie as Numbuh 48 Flavors finishes cackling) This calls for some diplomacy. (clearing throat slightly, then pointing confrontationally at 48 Flavors) GET HIM!!!
If I were Infinity, I would have said the exact same thing.

I noticed a blooper in the episode, and an amusing one, at that. Nigel is reaching for a certain weapon as the Super Gihugic Area (sp?) was split in two. He reaches that weapon, shoots the chain, and Chad begins to fall. As Nigel falls after him, he has a different weapon in hand.
That's okay, though. Out of all the episodes of KND, this was one of my absolute favorites. ^^

Chad's explanation doesn't hold much when it comes to explain to Nigel why he is with the good side all this time. Sure, he may clear things up about the Moonbase but what about the events in ELECTIONS? I'm positive he did collaborate with the Delightful Children and convinced the other Teen Ninjas to attack the elementary school. All I see is a huge hole and he isn't as good as we're lead to believe.
