Yeah, I still don't understand why people think its "creepy." Besides the afformentioned fact that its all just random coincidence, even if we assume there is something to it, how is living in a universe where patterns have some sort of signifigance any creepier than living in a universe where patterns have no signifigance (which is the kind of universe we actually live in?) If anything, it would be less scary.

This is a clear indication, RIGHT there, that God is watching us. Somehow, we seem to forget that God exists and carry on with our own business, and this is just one way of making sure that we don't forget.

Oh, and this is only the first of many such disasters. This was just a prod...a reminder for every individual alive that God exists, and that every one is equal. But no one seems to remember.

I think that Humans try to make sense in chaos, it appears to reassure them. Calenders, birthdays, anniversary's and all that are examples of it. And trying to find superficial patterns amidst all of the confusion is some peoples way of coping with it. It makes them thing that it isn't a random act of violence. It makes them feel safe and secure.

Like Numbuh 385's Maths, look at it, why divide by two? Because it gets to the answer shes looking for.
Say, for a second I'm wrong. If I was, what would the significances of all these numbers be? It doesn't tell us when the next terrorist threat will strike, it doesn't help anyone. Its merely interesting trivia at best.

As James said, you wouldn't be scared if it was all false, if none of it linked up. But someone would be able to link it to something throughout history. Prehapes a great war, where lots of people died. Or an assassination, or a murder. Any tragic event. Then we'd have 9/11 it a cursed date. Some way to sort out some kind of pattern.

God caused disasters to bring everyone closer and to remind us that He is watching, and we'd better watch it. I mean, its not as if the world was a peaceful place before the 9/11.

And yes, you're right about the math thing. For example, I could frame ANYBODY on the forum (don't worry, I won't XD) for the 9/11 incident.

Lets go for JAM, J is the 10th letter in the alphabet. A is the FIRST letter of the alphabet. M is the 13th letter in the alphabet.

1+1+13=15.

Then, I'll bring the number of letters in my last name in the equation;

6+6=12.

And do the following;

So this might mean that my family and the JAM were working hand in hand to cause the 9/11 incident. I could do this too;

What I was saying about God is, if there is *said* God. We'd all like to think it isn't something that randomly causes worldwide tradegys for kicks. I mean, why would he?

As I have stated and you have clarified there were massacres, deaths, famine, injustices, wars, plague, tsunami's, sacrifices and many more events throughout history. Even back in the times when the entire world was some religion or another (back when the church had a big role to play in running of country's). And God still caused these horrific incidents.

It granted us free will however, so I can use that to argue that the falling of the twin towers was no act of God.

However, it could be Gods ermmm survival instinct? Because think, if no-one believed in God would he continue to exist? As God (to my knowledge) has ever taken a corporal form on this Earth maybe it relays on faith to continue existing. Because without faith, its well, nothing.

A) Appear as a pillar of numinous fire in the middle of Times Square
B) Strike the entire Phelps clan stone dead with lightning thus winning the admiration of all.
C) Get on Oprah.

E) Run for US president.

I for one know God doesn't MAKE anything happen. Nor does He LET things happen. That's involve messing with Free Will, which is the area humans screwed up in the first place. Don't put the blame on God. Wasn't His fault. He didn't fly the plane or even tell them to. That was their own twisted, messed-up version of what their religion wanted (Muslim=/= psycho terrorist).
