Me too ! But my friends who have seen it thinks it's weird. I don't see what's so weird about it ... EDIT: Have you seen Princess Mononoke? I loved that movie just as much as Spirited Away!

Ooh, I loved Spirited Away, although I must say that I like Princess Mononoke better. Mononoke's music is absolutely gorgeous! But yeah, about Spirited Away, I can see why your friend thinks it's weird. It has a lot of scary demons and gods in it.
A lot of my friends are obsessed with Spirited Away. They all like Haku, but my favorite character is Kao-nashi (er... No-Face in English). I feel kind of weird around them because they keep swooning over Haku. °_°;;

EDIT: Have you seen Princess Mononoke? I loved that movie just as much as Spirited Away! I've seen both. I love them. But the absolute BEST Hayao Miyazaki movies are Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and Castle of Cagliostro.

^ My friend has one of those two movies and she loves it. I don't know which one though. *blink*blink* O wait wrong movies i'm thinking of Castle in the Sky! But I wanted to see Valley of the Wind. Spirited Away is one of my favorite movies! In one part I think I even cried...but I can't remember what part that was, maybe it was at the end or something. (man I can't remember anything can I?) My favorite character is...Haku! I want to see Princess Mononoke now, it sounds like a lot of you here love it! So it must be a good movie.

**has never heard of Valley of the Winds, please don't hurt me** I don't think I've heard of Valley of the Winds. What is it about? It's basically like an earlier version of Princess Mononoke (in fact Mononoke is slightly based on/inspired by it), except it's based in a post-apocalyptic future instead of in ancient Japan, and the main character is a pacifist. The movie won't be out in English for awhile, however the manga version of the story hs been out in English for years. Depending on which edition you read, it's either 4 graphic novels long, or 7 graphic novels (neither version is censored or edited, so it doesn't matter which one you get), and actually gets into a lot of stuff the movie never even touches. I would recommend reading it, because this was Miyazaki's preferred version. www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/guides/guide-display/-/LR1X2YZZUMAW/ref=cm_bg_guides/104-6153474-1577565(I actually have the "Perfect Collection" that the above link spends a lot of time dissing. It's nowhere near as bad as that link makes it sound).

Ohhh. Huh**nods**.
**changes subject** So did any of you guys find the part when No-Face starts puking all over the place replusive? Okay obviously yes, but was it really necessary to actually SHOW him puke?

Ugh...I remember that part...Don't think it was that necessary. Anyhoo, I've only seen Spirited Away, but I want to see Princess Mononoke and Castle in the Sky so badly!!!

I need to watch more of Hayao Miyazaki's work. I've only seen Kiki's Dilivery Service, Spirited Away, Castle In The Sky &... what's it called? Totoro? Mmm.. *shrugs* (( Kiki & Totoro are Hayao Miyazaki movies right? o.o )) I haven't seen Castle In The Sky & Totoro since I was little, though. I liked Spirited Away, I thought it was slightly wierd but I still liked it. I don't know who my favorite character is though... either Haku or No Face. o.o

I didn't really like Kiki's Delivery Service to be honest, it's just kind of a boring movie. But I do have Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and Castle in the Sky.
