Hehe, everyone here makes such a big deal over KND couples (I do too) so I was wondering...what are your top three favorite couples from books? Mine are: 1) Sirius/Remus - (from Harry Potter. It should be canon. I love them. They love each other.) 2) Sam/Frodo - (from the LotR trilogy. I read the books before the movie! Ha HA! Theirloveissocanon!) 3) Darcy/Elizabeth - (from Pride and Prejudice. I love this couple. SO MUCH. When I reread the book I always giggle like a 5 year old girl) I just realized....my top two couples are slash.  |

1. Holmes/Watson (You know they were together. Screw Watson's marriages. Those were a cover.)
2. Harry/Ron (Harry Potter)
3. Derik/Talia (Mercedes Lackey's Heralds of Valdemar trilogy)
4. Vanyel/Stephen (Mercedes Lackey's Last Herald Mage trilogy)
...And three of mine are slash. How 'bout that?

My 4th fav couple would have been Draco/Harry. The 5th would be Merry/Pippin, Legolas/Gimli, or James/Severus (can't decide!). I've never heard of Heralds of Valdemar. |

Ron/Hermione
Harry/Ron
Ron/Draco
Ron/Luna (lots of Ron couples ^^;;; )
McGonagall/Hagrid
Viktor/Fleur (am probably the only one that likes this couple)
Percy/Penelope
and probably more that I forgot.
But let's see... top 3 favorite couples from books:
1. Ron/Hermione from the Harry Potter series
2. Lirael/Nick from Lirael and Abhorsen
3. Odile/Benno from The Black Swan
And by the way, it's spelled "Aladdin".

No, I still love it, but not as much as I used to. I think it's because I got so deeply obsessed with KND.
So, I guess I meant to say, "as an ex-obsessive Harry Potter fan".

LOL. I used to be HP obsessed too. I still like it, but I'm not obsessed (like a few of my friends are). But anyway, here's my list: Regular booksHarry/Hermione (Harry Potter) Ron/Lavender (Harry Potter) Harry/Ron (Harry Potter) Sirius/Remus (Harry Potter) James/Lily (Harry Potter) Legolas/Arwen (Lord of the Rings) Manga (if it's bound in a book, it's "Literary!!") Rei/Kira (Mars) Yuu/Miki (Marmalade Boy) Ai/Myu (Psychic Academy) Ai/Orina (Psychic Academy) I'd go into anime, but that would take forever. And that isn't literary. |
