wai! this thread rocks my socks. especially as it's filled with slash. heehee.

remus/sirius - after OotP, it totally is canon. except then, you know. *sadness* but at least my couple was totally validated out the window beforehand!
neville/luna - this one's cute. and the only two kids in the books i can stand. yeah.
horatio/hamlet - plays count!!
since somebody mentioned animorphs (which i use to love MUCHLY) - marco/ax - heehee, dorky alien love. yay! and rachel/tobias - 'cause tobias was teh awesome

crowley/aziraphale - yeah. duh.
merry/pippen - this is cheating, though, because i haven't read the books. (bad scone! no cookie!) i would say sam/frodo but it's so canon it's almost boring.
ralph/jack - lord of the flies was like slash central. oh yeah.
man, i've read like all of mercedes lackey. but that was a while ago. you know she doesn't want people writing fic? dunno, that just made me sad and stuff. <- is totally well spoken here.
watson/holmes i'll give you (i haven't read it but my co teakettle says it rocks with a captital r) but i can't stand jane austin. don't know why.

i would say sam/frodo but it's so canon it's almost boring. ...Errrr, I could argue this 'til the cows come home, but I think I'll pass. It DOES! Simply put... Sherlock Holmes was the book series that finally convinced me that reading can be fun. (Okay, so I read stuff like Goosebumps before then. So sue me). Anyway... ummm... literary couples.... I'd don't read many books with romance, but I'll offer my two cents: Harry Potter: Ron/Herminone Neville/Ginny (  ) Cloud of Sparrows: Heiko/Stark ( ) Uh... anything else...? (does manga count?) ...Stephen King doesn't have much opportunity for romance. |

When Book 6 comes out, I'll be severly miffed it JKR does just put it into words. rachel/tobias - 'cause tobias was teh awesome I loved Tobias. Like, loved him. He was indeed teh awesome. And teh secks. I'd don't read many books with romance, but I'll offer my two cents: Harry Potter: Ron/Herminone Neville/Ginny ( ) Yeah, I love those too! And Neville/Luna. (Neville needs some lovin'.) Hm....and Seamus/Dean (HP again). If I started listing manga, this post would be pages long.  But wait....I'm gonna be cheap and do an American comic. Calvin/Susie (from Calvin & Hobbes - best comic ever!) They hate each other so much that it's gotta be good! |

When Book 6 comes out, I'll be severly miffed it JKR does just put it into words. I don't know. It's kind of good and kind of bad, I guess. You know that it's nice canonical slashiness (yay!). However, then she ruined all the fun of trying to prove it (boo!). I loved Tobias. Like, loved him. He was indeed teh awesome. And teh secks. Tobias was awesome.
