At first I accepted 3/4ism, mostly because I was couples-neutral at the time and I figured it would be best to just stick with the most supported. As time, the show, and my fanfics went on though I kinda got dissatisfied with it and wanted to do other things... simply to be different.
One thing that always bothered me about 3/4 was how it kinda stigmatized the characters... in the show and in most fanfics, Kuki and Wally are so "together" that it's like they're blind to the rest of the world sometimes. Like those fanfics where Kuki is going through some severe emotional trouble and Wally is the only one that sees it and tries to comfort her while the rest of the team is out, oh, eating donuts or something. The show has fallen into this trap too, but not to as great an extent. Greatest example: Operation: BEACH, where Wally rescues Kuki and then starts to lead her out of the castle, having NOT EVEN NOTICED that Hoagie and Abby were also prisoners.
Nowadays though, I'm kind of against pre-teen romance in the show anyway. In my opinion it makes the "childhood" of the Kids Next Door much less believable--they often display behavior I would expect more from teenagers or adults. In my childhood, only one of my friends had a girlfriend and I only had one crush and in neither case did we end up with really deep relationships. Or, another case in point: one of my cousins, now fourteen, is a huge ladies man, but when he was ten years old he didn't even THINK about girls.
So, in summary, the romance in the show really should be limited to the teenagers and the adults. Kids should have crushes, no more.

If Wally wouldn´t have crush on Kuki, he´ll be really boring character who only thinks about fighting and picking on someone. And I have to admit it, that if there wasn´t 3/4, I wouldn´t even watch KND.Of course, those fanfics really go too far.In the show Wally hasn´t ever told Kuki about her feelings, but in those fanfics he says it over and over again and that´s REALLY boring and spoils everything. And Kuki is not Wallys girlfriend, Wally just has a crush on her and it seems that Kuki likes Wally, too.In real life, this isn´t so rare as you described it.I remember when I was ten and I had this friend, who really cared about me and I had a crush on him (dunno if he had, but it seemed so).We never told about it each other, but there were many "blushing and hugging" moments.Sadly, he´s dead now (he died two years ago in a car accident) and I still think about him every single day.But what I want to say is, that children crushes are true and pure, not like teenagers (I have my own experience).

Yeah this couple Annoys me because like jameseightbitstar said
They completly ignore everyone else when there together and if they did hook up the show would most likely be from 5 operatives to 3 numbuhs 1,2,5, most likely 3 and 4 would quit to be together.

If Wally wouldn´t have crush on Kuki, he´ll be really boring character who only thinks about fighting and picking on someone. Ya know, the "He would be so shallow without the crush" is one thing I hear again and again... and yet, it's simply not true. How many episodes have we seen where Wally is a boy who "only thinks about fighting and picking on someone?" My count is: None. Now, how many episodes have we seen that established and/or developed Wally's personality without using his crush on Kuki as a central point? I count: Operation: OFFICE Operation: CANNON Operation: THE-SHOGUN Operation: POOL (okay, this one did, but only slightly) Operation: GROW-UP Operation: BULLIES (I think that's what it was called. That Jurassic Park parody) Operation: ROBBERS Operation: HOUND Operation: MOVIE Operation: TRICKY ...and so many more. Heck, Kuki wasn't even in some of Wally's best episodes, and in others Kuki only appeared briefly or, in the case of OFFICE, halfway through the episode. So no, don't tell me that Wally's crush on Kuki is a central part of his character and that the Jenga tower of his personality is so weak and uninteresting that it would fall apart if you removed the crush. If that was the case, he would be a pretty lame character and no one would like him. No offense Sunnybunny, but your response is a perfect example of what I mean when I say the 3/4 romance has only succeeded in stigmatizing the characters and making them flat.

Well,3\4 is kinda,anti-numbuh 4 fangirls.(Wally's STILL too good for kuki)
Everytime I think of the fact that numbuh 4 Has a drawing of numbuh 3 in his room,I try to think that she FORCED him to put it in there(I'm crazy)

OFFICE shouldn´t be in your list, because if Kuki wasn´t there, Wally would just leave all these girls behind and escape alone.
And I´m not telling you that Wally´s crush on Kuki is the central part of his character, it just softens his tough guy image and makes him even more interesting character.

OFFICE shouldn´t be in your list, because if Kuki wasn´t there, Wally would just leave all these girls behind and escape alone. Still though, the way that ep was written wasn't a major indicator of "crush," more like "This is a girl I know, so I'll rescue her." He would've done the same for Numbuh Five, Numbuh One, or... anyone. And again, Kuki didn't appear until halfway through the episode, and we were seeing lotsa Wally personality before then. "If Wally wouldn´t have crush on Kuki, he´ll be really boring character who only thinks about fighting and picking on someone." Characters can be interesting and likable without having a crush... in fact often throwing romance into the mix is little more than a cop-out.
