Because, it's fun to talk about our favorite couples we wanna ship.

Good enough reason for me.

Well, through my point of view:
1) Because its something that gives the show more of the soap opera idea to it.
2) Because we are bored and have nothing better to do.
3) Because Mr. Warburton puts a lot of romance in the show.
4) Because it's fun, romantic and adorible.
5) Because...I ran out of ideas.

Well there sure are a lot of reasons! That's why they're popular - because of all the reasons we're coming up with!

Because that little romance balances the whole action in this show, that´s it;)

One thing I've found interesting for a long time is that the last show that I've been really into (and still currently am) that's been this romance obsessed is Teen Titans, and I love all of the parallels I've drawn with that show in comparison to this one, lol. Teen Titans forums can be very scary with their "wars" against "enemy shippers." However, even though this show is really into romance too, it is a LOT more peaceful when it comes to the whole 1/5 vs. 2/5 vs. 1/Lizzie thing, or any other pairings that clash together, lol.

-tackles- You're in the Teen Titans fandom? What forums do you go to? Maybe I know you- I'm known as 'unifilar' and sometimes 'sorarocksmysocks' on a few forums. Fwee. ^^ I just love meeting Teen Titans fans here.
In any case- you'd be surprised at some of the 'wars' that go on here, but I agree with your point that they're less intense than the Teen Titans 'battles' I've been in. But out of all the fandoms I've been in, the most hectic romance-related debates come from Avatar: The Last Airbender. -shivers-
Part of the appeal to romance is, in fact, defending it. Debating makes things more interesting, and it shows that your ship is worth fighting for. Love is a very controversial thing, and it's barely ever seen the same way twice- making it a very intriguing to analyze/debate.

Yes, I am a huge Teen Titans fan^^ I don't really go there much anymore, but I was a member of R&BB Shippers United, and I read a lot of others. Are you the same Sora that was on R&BB Shippers United? I'm a fan of about every popular couple on Teen Titans except BB/Terra, and that's mainly because I just don't like Terra, no offense to any Terra fans here. I definitely recognize you from fanfiction.net. I love the stuff you write^^

It seems sometime when discussing proof of our couple on a certain episode that someone sees that situation more different, I also think think for the most part all the shippers get along well, I am a supporter of 2/5 but I still consider myself friends with 1/5 shippers.

Wise words. I agree also. 1/5 shippers only look for the 1/5 hints (not proof, hints). And the 2/5 shippers only look for the 2/5 hints. And then some 1/5 shippers try to turn all the 2/5 hints into negative things, and vise-versa. Not that everybody does that. Just the really stubborn ones. I don't have any friends. *laughs*
