numbuh 0xFF Nice to have you back! ;D @cap'n Veg My heart was beating so fast as I read that. I'm glad to hear your dog's alright though! Pets are great but they can really panic you at times! I once had a rabbit who needed a major operation, and the anaesthetic alone was so powerful that it could have killed him. I felt so sick with nerves for the entire week leading up to it. Then he survived and lived for 3 more years (he was already old). It's very promising that your dog got up and started walking straight after the accident though. She must be one strong animal! @madame Hoagie's Gal *shudders* Oh man, I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I just can't imagine what that would be like. @klarys Well done in chess!! And good luck for your next match.

@pets-luckily our cats are doing fine. (although sometimes the cats try to get out, which is not a good idea, since we live in an apartment.)

I made a new spawn...weeeee.....
One 'o my pups was hit by a car when I was at school about 2 years ago. He was violent, and we probably were going to have to put him down soon...but I still cried.

Once when I was about 7 or 8 my mum had picked up my best friend, my brother and I and she was driving us home when suddenly this dog ran out into the road from nowhere. I was sitting in the front so I saw it clearly. My mum and I screamed and my mum amazingly managed not to hit it (seriously it was so close).
That's the closest I've ever been to see an animal be run over. After that though, my friend asled, "why did you scream?" since from the back of the car she hadn't seen the dog. We just laughed at this - I guess we were just so relieved that the dog didn't get hit.
Even though everything turned out fine, I'm always a little on edge every time we pass the house the dog came from. I always half expect an animal to randomly jump out in front of the car again.
In other (happier) news...
@snap New spawn? w00t!

I used to have two birds that my uncle got me for my birthday. I think their names were Rollie and Polie. Anywho, since I was still young and couldn't take care of them, we gave them to my aunt. Everyday I'd go to my aunts' house and visit my birds. Then one day, they weren't there. My aunt said that she let them out and let them fly away. I later found out that they killed each other by pecking at one another. I guess they didn't like each other...

I like that artwork, DigiGirl.
"The cool girl, and the pilot... a WINNING combination."
That'd make a good slogan.
