AGB sighed as she led the worried group of Samurai down the long hallway of the U.S.S. 2/5. She stopped at the Madame's door, and pushed it open.
The Madame, as usual, had her nose in a book. Without looking up, she asked, "Why are you all so troubled?"
"I'm sure you know why," AGB said. "We haven't seen the Professor in what seems like eons."
The soothsayer sighed. "You're not going to like what you see." She rose out of her chair. "But I'll take you there."
KCG inquired, "Your magic was ineffective? That's hard to believe."
"No. This thing is too powerful." The Madame breathed in. "Even my magic can't do a thing to help him."
KCG sighed, opened her medical bag, and put away the brightly colored concoction she brought along for this journey.
"Let's go." The Madame led the group out of her room.
They didn't want to know what was awaiting them. The Madame, who usually had a look of glee on her face, looked downright austere right now.
*********
As they pushed open the Professor's door, they paused and blew the dust off his books and mad scientist props.
Their attention was quickly drawn to a small, deep door they'd never seen before. It was right behind the Professor's headboard.
"Come this way," the Madame whispered.
As they went through the small doorway, they became aware of an enormous iron spiral staircase, leading down to somewhere that felt arid and hot.
"I don't like this," AGB said.
"We have to go," Klarys sighed.
The Madame started to tiptoe down the staircase. "Hold on tightly and breathe VERY softly..."
Suddenly, a roar of titanic proportions threw them all back. They peered down, clutching onto the railings, lest they fall into the thing they saw below their feet.
"My God," AGB breathed in. "That looks like the monster that was going to devour Luke and Han in Return of the Jedi..."
Indeed it was. The maw was just that--a huge mouth, with two enormous and hollow fangs. Tentacles came out of and surrounded the mouth--billions of them, it seemed like. And for every tentacle, there was a tongue.
The Professor was in the clutches of one of these tentacles, swinging a sharp sword. Every time the sword lopped off a tentacle, though, three more grew back in the old one's place. The thing was passing the young man all over its monstrously large circumference.
He looked up to see the scared group, and the look in his eyes said, There's nothing any of you can do. I have to fight this thing alone. Don't fear, for I'll be out of this dark place soon enough.
The group then ran up the staircase, escaping the flickering tentacles that were trying to throw them into the maw as well.
"What's the name of that awful thing?", the Cap'n asked.
Collegius venomus migrainius, the Madame said. "We have to listen to what the Professor told us." She looked back at the cave, as the group came out of the small doorway. "We have to trust him when he says he'll defeat that hideous thing and be back with us soon."
The group disbanded with heavy hearts, but a small flicker of hope remained alive in their minds.
END

@harry potter beans - When they were out in Britain there wasn't as many bad flavours. I think there was 2 or 3 - Horseradish and carrot. (I can't remember the third one if it existed) I liked the carrot one but the horseradish one was horrible. It was the only flavour I never ate, which actually made the box an ok buy. The chocolate frogs on the other hand were a ripoff. The chocolate wasn't even that nice.

@harry Potter Beans Horseradish? I don't even like that now , carrot sound weird but I guess you should never judge something on its name (sometimes) I use to always wanna try the beans but then I thought "Do they really taste like what its name is or is that just to sound cool..." @chocolate Frogs There's Chocolate Frogs too? Wow, I knew about the beans but not the frogs

In Britain there was anyway. I think there was also fizzing whizzbees, but they were even worse than the frogs. The beans were really the only decent sweet.

Wow, lots of different kindas of Harry Potter candy, I use to like the Happy Potter books and stuff but the Half Blood Prince ( I think that's what it's called, don't remember) kinda ticked me off, it seemed like it was a bit rushed, but just my opinion @dex I like plain Tuna (not the bean cuz I never ate them before ) Marshmallow sounds good but a vomit flavored bean, how'd they make a taste for that?

Re: Harry Potter Beans The first nasty flavour I had was tomato. Once a load of new flavours came out and I had one that was really weird. I'm not sure what it was meant to be... but for some reason I think it was probably earwax (and NO don't ask me why I think that!!). I thought the chocolate frogs were okay, but nothing special. I liked the cards you got with them though! I don't remember the fizzing whizzbees though. Never had them. And whoa, I've only just realised this is a new thread. Shows how slow I am! ;D

Aye, I agree. I'm rather pleased that the beans we got *were* more restricted in flavour... although we never got marshmallow ones T_T edit: hmm, I actually remember the tomato and earwax ones too... perhaps they did add flavours but I stopped buying them Oh well. I haven't seen them sold in aaages

Earwax is totally a flavour, though. I gave it to my sister, also!
