I think it's a good couple, Numbuh 2 likes "difficult" or "hard" girls like Cree, well 86 is like that and that's why.
There isn't evidence of 2/86 so I guess we have to look for it.

Normally, a guy would be kind of "OMG IT'S 86! NUHHH!!" and be all scared and nervous and intimidated. But not Hoagie. In PINKEYE, Hoagie seems to flirt with Fanny, is all "yeah whatever" when she's yelling at him, and even goes as far as to call her "Toots." And he seemed kind of concerned for her when she got pinkeye, but that was to be expected, right?

So there IS some kind of 2/86 interaction. Not enough to think of it as "twoo wub," but I can always dream, can't I? xD

I see 2/86 as a plausible couple, but we need more proof. Sure, it sounds alright. But Cree/2 can't be a couple. 2 likes Cree but Cree, like, hates 2. But that's only my opinion.

I wasn't suprised that Hoagie got canned by Fanny for calling her "toots." That's just how Fanny acts. And Hoagie COULD have been acting like a cool detective, but isn't he always the "cool" type?

ya hogie is defently the cool tip lol..but what im realy hoping for is that they show like maybe a little 86/2ness like in one of the new episodes like maybe clown but i don't really know

When he calls her Toots, she does not take kindly to it, and has never shown any feelings toward him except to insult him for being a stupid boy. And even in his narrative, he manages to insult her. "Her voice was like a thousand violins...played by monkeys." There's just too much hostility between the two, and it seems too intense to be Freudian defense, as is the case with 3/4.

There isn't enough evidence about this couples but we know what Kind of girls numbuh 2 likes, and we know what kind of boy numbuh 86 likes (Numbuh 4) so the one who likes the other would be numbuh 2, 86 is like Cree a brave and a "little rude".

I like this couple very much, but can't get to any evidence (haven't seen PINK-EYE yet). I got mostly into this couple through the fandom, fanart.fanfics...
