From time to time I like to take a movie or TV show and figure out who would play who if the characters were in something else (usually a musical). For example, if the KND were in Bye Bye Birdie instead...
Nigel would be Albert
Lizzie would be Rose
Kuki would be Kim
Wally would be Hugo
The Kid would be Conrad Birdie
Mr. and Mrs. Sanban would be Mr. and Mrs. MacAfee
Mrs. Uno would be Albert's mom
and Numbuh 10 would be Ursula
But I'm having trouble with a few roles in another musical called Urinetown (I don't know if anyone's ever heard of it, but it's very funny). The roles I definitely have down are:
Nigel as Bobby Strong
Mr. Uno as Joseph "Old Man" Strong
Mrs. Uno as Josephine Strong
Kuki as Little Sally
Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb as Officers Lockstock and Barrel
Now, before I go into the roles I'm having trouble with, let me explain a little bit of the plot. The musical takes place sometime in the future, where a drought has been going on for over twenty years, and thus to help save water, the Urine Good Company, run by Mr. Cladwell, charges everyone a fee in order to use toilets. Anyone who tries to get around this is instantly exiled to Urinetown (hence the title). This keeps the poor nicely oppressed while the rich get richer (although in my casting, it would be kids vs. adults rather than a class battle), until Mr. Cladwell's idealistic daughter Hope comes to town and blathers to Bobby about following his heart. This inspires him to revolt, eventually getting himself sent to Urinetown (which is actually getting thrown off the top of the UGC building), but toppling Cladwell's regime nonetheless (through the help of the rest of the poor, Hope, and his supervisor, Penelope Pennywise, who is actually Hope's mother, unbeknowst to all).
Anyway, my problem is that I'm not sure which concept I want to go with. On the one hand, I want Mr. Boss to be Cladwell, so that Fanny can be Hope, since they're related in the actual show. But on the other hand, I think that Lizzie would be better as Hope, since she's Bobby's love interest, and Lizzie/Nigel is canon, not to mention she'd be more likely to sing the love song than Fanny would. Plus, if Lizzie is Hope, then Father gets to be Cladwell and the DCfDtL can be his staff.
And regardless of who is Hope and Cladwell, I have absolutely no clue who would be a good Pennywise (although if I go with Fanny as Hope, it would make the most sense for her to be Mrs. Fullbright). There just aren't a lot of female adults on the show. So, any help or comments you guys have are appreciated, and feel free to post casting ideas of your own.

Hoagie-The main character, the one that has super strengh and super flying speed.
Abby-The main character's friend who can control plants.
Nigel-The guy who can throw flames,and used to be the main character's enemy.
Wally-The guy who can glow in the dark.
Kuki-The girl who can morph into a hamster (or guini-pig whatever)
Chad and some random teenage boy-The bullies,one can streach while the other has super speed.
Cree-The girl whocan multiplate herseif
Okay that's all I can think of,I don't know who can be the villian since the villian is a female and the main character fell in love with her.

Mm... I don't think it makes sense at all (Phan of many years). The personalities of the principles don't mesh at all. Heinrich isn't a deeply sympathetic character with severe mommy issues. Abby isn't sweet and naive with daddy issues. Hoagie... yeah, he could work as Raoul.

I can see your points, and though Heinrich is not at all the complex character found in Leroux's novel and some of the other versions I've seen, my putting him in the lead role in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical was based on the Phantom's unrequited love of and "power over" Christine, as well as his prowling about the opera house and causing trouble (which I could see Heinrich doing). The Raoul/Christine/Phantom triangle I liken to the 2/5/Heinrich triangle on KND, and that, I guess, was what I was thinking of the most when putting this KND cast list together.
But as I consider it, Heinrich might make a better Phantom in one of the movie versions where the character is disfigured by accident, not born with a deformity.

Yeah, he's more of a Movie Phantom than a Play or Novel phantom. Though the Novel version is pretty close, psychologically speaking. One big power play.

Elphaba - Numbuh 5. Strong female leads....if you know the character, you'll get my reasoning.
Galinda (later Glinda) - Numbuh 3. Bubbily, bright, sweet, kind of out of it.
Doctor Dillamond - Hoagie. Yes, he would have to be a goat, but the character fits for him.
Nessarose - Mushi. Yes, I know she's actually Kuki's sister, but the character fits her...which is why...
Boq - Sandy. Okay, so he would have to have maintained his crush on Kuki and spurned ...plus he's supposed to be short (Before you say Numbuh 4, I have a plan for him)
Fiyore - hmm...okay, this is a toughy. Due to his carefree spirit, it could easily be Hoagie OR Wally...but..I'm going to say Numbuh 4, because Fiyore doesn't really set much stock by the rules.
Madame Morrible - Hmm...awful, awful woman. Hmm...Nurse Claiborne.
The Wizard - Here I would say Father, due to the fact the wizard doesn't seem very good in this...but as Father is at least capable of throwing fire balls, I'd either say the Ben side of him....or the Toilenator.
Dorothy - ...uh...Muffy Jenkins? honestly, I don't know. She's pretty useless in it..just keeps crying.
Cowardly Lion - ...Nigel. I know it doesn't fit, I just find it extremely hilarious.
