Signs do seem to point in that direction.

I must've missed whatever episode first introduced the "Splinter Cell" (here I thought that was a Tom Clancy game).! A very good one at that. It was on Op. Message. When i saw the note at the end I thought of some guy dressed in complete black with those green night vision goggles going around assissinating adults and teens. But then I remembered it was a kid's show.

I can't help but feel that Numbuh Zero getting decommissioned was probably what drove Ben over the edge to becoming evil. *speculation* Seeing his brother change from Numbuh Zero into the teen who would one day become Monty Uno as we know him now, he couldn't see the point. What use was it to fight for right if that's all it got you in the end? *end speculation*

I really like that theory, but my favorite theory is still that Ben was just a momma's boy who went kinda nuts after his mother's death. (And by the way, thank you. I used that idea for one of my fanart themes...hope nobody minds - I will remove it if there is some objection)

KIDS NEXT DOOR: We give membership benefits! Free candy! Unlimited soda! Toys! OTHER LEAGUE: Yeah, but we let you keep your memories when you're done! KIDS NEXT DOOR: ... I say we pool our resources. Agreed? OTHER LEAGUE: ...Remove that memory-wiping stuff and we'll consider it.

^Which, ultimately, gives me an idea. Is the Kids Next Door the only anti-adult organization in the world? Maybe there is a splinter cell somewhere, and they are a threat to the KND, despite having the same enemies.

That could be how the Cowboy Kids Club came about, back in the day.

Maybe thats why there is a teen force against the KND.

I just want to put some theories forward on Muffy Jenkins, first of all shes been around since like season 1 or 2 but had played no significant roal in the KND plots but then in op. M.E.S.S.A.G.E she is given a note about 'splinter cell' (which we currently have no real idea what it is) and we actually hear her voice which has never been brought up before.
So Muffy Jenkins could be a number of things including:
1) a character created to ust help get points and/or messages across to the audience without having to use a main character or a number of random new characters.
2) a secret undercover operative for the KND who helps sector v without them knowing.
or
3) a charcter who is not a KND operative but knows alot about the KND agenda and other evil adult activity which most of the normal kids seem to ignore or some how not notice. __________________________________________________________________________
phew... thats the most i have written on this forum and probobly the most i have actually thought about any theory ever!
so what do you think?

Okay, from CAKED FIVE we know that all the other CAKED bits have been partly about about Father's attempts to recapture his greatgrandmother's recipe. But how did he learn about the recipe in the first place? My original theory on this was that Monty told Ben about it after reading the account of The Alamode in The Book of KND, but it just doesn't seem as likely to me now as it did then. (That is, I'm pretty sure now that the scene from the beginning of ZERO was the beginning of their estrangement. But anyhoo...) My current theory is that, since Father's greatgrandmother would be Grandfather's grandmother, he probably tasted some of her cake at some point in his life. Maybe one day he waxed nostalgic about it, maybe even mentioned what he'd give to taste it again, which Ben picked up on, and thus, in a bid for his father's approval, he attempted to recreate a cake he'd only heard about. With disasterous results, of course (made even more so by Pappy's lack of gratitude; not even the thought counts with him). Still, Ben had to keep trying, and thus baking became "more than a hobby" for him--an obsession. Many times he succeeded at creating exceedingly delicious cakes, but none that measured up to the mythical deliciousness of his Greatgrandmother's cake. Related theory: after the events of The Alamode, Father's greatgrandmother continued to make her cakes, but never wrote down the recipe again (definitely ensuring it from being stolen), and thus it went with her to the grave.
