Sort-of agree there--personally I think you shouldn't comment on any show before watching at least five episodes, though sometimes that isn't always possible.
Besides *grinning* he's probably miffed because he's an adult and he's worried kids might try to throw stuff at him and call him an 'evil adult' because of KND. (I'm actually giggling over here... ;D)
I don't think he has to worry as long as he doesn't try to attack them with fire or giant robots. -__^
If there's any reservations I would have about showing this to kids, its how the show often makes out that people's behavior is inherent based on their age and gender (Op. FUTURE is an example--honestly I find that episode offensive). If I had kids, I'd be careful to remind them that you are who you choose to be, you don't turn out a certain way just because of your genes.

A show Tom Warburton did the character designs for that used to play on the Disney Channel. It was basically a "kids in the classroom" show--you know, the whole thing revolved around normal schoolkids and the situations they'd get into.
That kind of show was big in the late nineties (Doug, Recess, Braceface, etc.) but honestly I think that concept is pointless.
EDIT 2: AN hour and we've covered 2 pages. I'm impressed; this forum can REALLY get fired up when someone disses KND.
