I can't stop laughing at that "precious divinity of Hamtaro" line. And WTF do they mean "The people they fight aren't evil"  ??!!!!!!!!! These morons obviously haven't watched more than two episodes of KND. They're probably just evil adults who can't understand that a Kids show can be more complex than just 5 kids fighting adults. *pokes second review* The first review... Just... WTF... Waddya mean where's the romance? Has that person even seen anything beyone season two? I mean, really. And where's the action???!!!!!!! The action is in like, every single episode! And getting into the speech? "LOLZ... Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 2 can't say 'Numbuh' because of their race!!!11" I'm convinced the last one was written by an evil adult. An even eviler adult who is eviler than the first two! Eviler than Negative Numbuh 4 and Father put together! |

Whether or not you're a fan, please remember that KND is JUST a television show. What's important is how YOU feel about it. It's not like the show, the DVDs, or this forum are going to magically disappear just because the show got a few bad reviews on IMDb.
I'm honestly kind of surprised how everyone is getting so up in arms about these reviews.

Well, I for one am real attached to the show. You guys don't know what its done for me when I needed to escape... If I wasn't able to go to it, I would have run away months ago... and would have been homeless. This show is REALLY close to me, so I hate when people hate it...

Astro Boy made me think twice about suicide. But I don't get angry or even disturbed whenever someone disses it. |

I get hecka attatched to stuff though, its like, my friend insulted my dad when I was 8, so I beat my friend up and then he never insulted my dad again... then I cried (for my dad)
So, I attatch to things... and I know that I shouldn't, but I get REAL upset when people insult things real close to me

I think everyone goes through a period like that, where you're really defensive of things you like.
After awhile you get over it.
In fact, I often love reading negative reviews of things I like because often I find their observations funny. Just cuz you like something doesn't mean you have to take it seriously, after all!

I know how THAT feels. Although you MAY not wanna go to my school.....cuz most disses (and in MY school you learn how to diss) are about how you screwed the other dude's mom, how the other dude's mom called his name, the nation.......they're pretty cold.
But when they're not they're cool. ANYWAY, back to our topic.....
JamesEightBitStar is right about it just being a show. But if you read the reviews, they aren't even comprehensible. Its cannon; how could you NOT notice:
a)Tommy isn't numbuh 4's brother; he doesn't even LOOK like him?
b)The love between 3/ 4 and 1/Lizzie is the romance!
The dude is an idiot. He has a right to his opinion, but if he's gonna write a bad review, its gonna HAVE to MAKE SENSE.

Personally I find that kind of stuff funny. If everyone's screwing everyone else's mom, then everyone is related and the whole school is inbred! The guy probably got 4 and 2 confused, either that or he meant to press 2 but typed 4 by accident and didn't proofread. Mistakes happen. BTW, its "canon." Its quite possible he saw an episode that didn't concentrate on either pair. There's romance but it doesn't exactly figure in to most of the series. Personally, I honestly agreed with the review that said there were too many movie parodies and that Father was a lame villain. The rest of the reviews I could do without, particularly the ones that were hung-up on comparing KND to other shows--to paraphrase J.R.R. Tolkien: "I have no cause to complain, since I have a similar opinion of the works they evidently prefer." Eh, your probably right ^^ It's real annoying to be bothered by stuff like this... Plus: HE WORKED ON PEPPERANN?? BBefore KND, that was my favorite cartoon!

Well, you might think that he would've done a few interviews or AT LEAST watched it WELL and done a little RESEARCH before he spoke his puny little mind. But he ONLY saw a couple of episodes and he's already dissing it. He didn't give it an actual try. Besides *grinning* he's probably miffed because he's an adult and he's worried kids might try to throw stuff at him and call him an 'evil adult' because of KND. (I'm actually giggling over here... ;D) EDIT: ...what's pepper ann? EDIT 2: AN hour and we've covered 2 pages. I'm impressed; this forum can REALLY get fired up when someone disses KND. |
