RVD would have been a good choice too. I did have a feeling HHH would've won it though. I knew Big Show wouldn't have. And then there's the Edge/ Foley match. Whatcha think of that? I do know Foley can have good matches (I remember Hell in the Cell) although I don't know if he's slowed down since retiring. Hmmmm...... I know... Ladder match ;D Ok, they probably won't do that. Edge was always good at ladder matches though.

Possibly a Street Fight. I don't think they'll do a cage or Hell in a Cell. Besides, if neither of them has a title, what are they going to have as the prize hanging from the ceiling?
There will be a second Money in the Bank match, though. Carlito seems to be a lock for it. They might do a combined one for Raw and Smackdown this year: I've heard Carlito, RVD, Masters, JBL, Hardy, and Lashley.

Hmmmm good point (Of course the fact that there is no title for the ladder match flew right over my head). Ok, that was just plain stupid of me. I know they wouldn't do a hell in the Cell (I just said I remember that one Hell in the Cell from Foley). Edge wouldn't last in that thing ;D. I thought that match with Carlito on RAW was funny. Are you gonna be watching Wrestlemania this year?

Probably, it's one of the few ppv's I shell out for still. I usually do the Original Four, and last year my friend talked me into springing for One Night Stand. That one was worth it. They're doing it again this year, I think Tazz was supposed to announce it last week.

It's best to chip in with a bunch of people ;D (Especially when you're an adult and have to pay for everything If you are, you know what I'm talking about). For me, though, most people I know who I watched PPVs with fell out of wrestling. I don't get many PPVs either. There are just so many now.

In some ways it's good and it's not. It does make up for the long, boring gaps, especially that one that existed between Wrestlemania and Summerslam before King of the Ring (and at Survivor Series and Royal Rumble, rivalries would never get blown off anyway) where there were nothing but jobber squashes. However, that time did make the big ppv's all the more special and worth more. Rivalries developed over the course of months, and even an entire year, rather than being thrown together at the last minute.

Were you able to see Raw tonight? They had the first 3 Money in the Bank qualifiers, and the KMA Club didn't go exactly as planned. It's building to Saturday Night's Main Event. That's right. SNME is coming back.

Yep, I watched it. I know, Saturday Night's Main event (Old music plays in head...doo......doo.doo.doo.doo.... ;D). The KMA club was funny.... pucker up HBK (But I wouldn't want to do that even if I did get payed ). The Hardcore match should be cool to watch at Wrestlemania. That would be cool if RVD wins the Money in the Bank match. i know Flair won against Carlito to qualify for the match, but since he had his feet on the ropes during the pin, I wonder if the decision will get turned around eventually or he'll get challenged again (I know they don't always do a re-match, it just seems that last week they were building up Carlito for that during his match and also it's not quite Flair's type of match, but that's an opinion).

I don't see what the point is booking Shelton in that match a week after he won the IC belt. He should defend that at Mania, which hasn't seen an Intercontinental match since 2002 (RVD's first win against Regal). I would have had Carlito beat someone to make it him, RVD, and Flair. Sounds like the other 3 guys are coming from Smackdown. Maybe Matt Hardy wins it this year, seeing as how Edge got it last time.
Jannetty never kissed Vince's ass and he never broke the Masterlock. Think he'll still get a contract, or was this just a pre-Mania cameo?

I'm not sure . I was wondering the same thing. It's hard to say because, although he did good in the r ing last year with HBK, he is in his mid 40s (Although look at Flair). We'll see.

Just to tell you, on WWE.com, they have a list of all the old Saturday Night Main Event's listed.

Nice. SNME had some great moments. I remember when for some reason they had an Oktoberfest Holiday Special instead of Halloween. Lord Alfred Hayes got plastered and called Mean Gene Herr Schlong (maybe not, but it definitely sounded that way), the Bushwackers cut the cheese-literally, and the Orient Express beat the Hart Foundation...in a Sausage Stuffing Contest.

I know, it's cool, huh ;D. It's just too bad I didn't tape as many matches as I can when I was younger. Oh well, at least I still have some of my wrestling toys and magazines from then.

You're lucky! I taped over all my wrestling videos and gave away my toys when I thought I had outgrown them. Biggest mistake of my life. The only remnant of my old wrestling days is WWF Super Wrestlemania for Sega Genesis (complete with Papa Shango and Irwin R. Schyster!)
