I'd probably end up seeing it out of either boredom or morbid curiosity.
Or not. I could always just watch Beneath the Planet of the Apes again.

Well, even IF it's terrible, we should all see it anyway as fans. ^^ Movies cost a ton of money to make, so if no-one watches it, poor Mr. Warburton would be kinda, well, ruined, or atleeste the company would be... It's a lot of money to just get poured down the drain.
And anyway, I just have a good feeling that it's gonna be great! Have faith, fwends! :3

If it IS going to be made into a movie...You people think Dakota Fanning would get the part of Numbuh 362? She's like 10 years old now. ^_^
Some movies she played in:
-War of The Worlds -Dreamer -Hide and Seek

She might get the role, She annoys me too much though. Also I can't imagine her as the tough leader role (Only after witnessing her scream for two hours in War of the worlds).
Well actually I watched Cat in the Hat (I don't recommend it) and she played a bossy charactor in that quite well. So she might pull it off.

It's a lot of money to just get poured down the drain. You've kinda got the business backwards. First of all, Mr. Warburton wouldn't be touched at all--he doesn't personally put money into the project. The worst that could happen is that he doesn't make as much as he could. As for the company, see, most companies make more than one movie, and usually if one movie fails, the other is a success and more than makes up for the failure. And usually they have a whole lot of money in reserve in case things get bad anyway. Historical fact: Did you know that many of the movies made by Walt Disney during his lifetime were commercial failures? I sure didn't... but its true: The only movies he made that were financially successful were Snow White and (I think) Pinocchio. And yet the Walt Disney company is like one of the biggest corperations like ever. although how would they do all the really big machines and stuff... Doing big machines in live-action really isn't that hard. Ever seen Robocop?

I just remembered reading something about the Warner Brothers movie, Back In Action, and they said it was a pretty big flop that costed them alot, I think. Atleeste that's what I thought... I may indeed be wrong I always thought movies depended totally on their veiwers, and had to be successful enough to pay for making them, plus enough for profit

I always thought movies depended totally on their veiwers, and had to be successful enough to pay for making them, plus enough for profit That is pretty much what they HOPE for. Just that... if they produce ten movies, one of them is a flop, they're fine. Now if they produce ten movies and all ten of them are flops, THAT'S when they start worrying.

There's a suprisingly large amount of wastage when you make movies. You'll note that movies flop all the time while companies do just fine.
And CGI is dirt cheap nowadays. I've seen homemade stuff that's quite nicely comparable to commercial fare. Big machines are not a problem. Actors, now, are a different matter altogether. They always cost a lot.
For a reason I can't explain I'm optimistic about the movie. Can't imagine why, the odds are stacked against it in every possible way. And yet, I'm convinced it's going to be good. Funky.

Here's a thought: Maybe you're optimistic BECAUSE the odds are stacked against it?
Like you know, sort of the movie-expectations version of "so crazy it just has to work."

I'll say it might work. I mean, if they could make what used to be a bunch of half vehicle-half robot cartoon become some real cool living alien robots in Transformers, and make a few dolls in a cartoon that little girls watch "come to life" in the upcoming Bratz? Why not KND?
