I'm new to the site, I started writing some KND fanfics on Fanfiction.net a few months ago and I stumbled across this site while poking around on Mr. Warburton's web page.
I've been watching KND since I was 8, its always been my favorite TV show and I was really sad to see it go. So I got into reading and writing Fanfiction. I'm currently 16 years old, I never use my real name online for security purposes, so you can all just call me Jackrkazi.
I'm a junior in high school and an SA(T) in the United States National Sea Cadet Corp (USNSCC).

Welcome to the site. I must warn you that this site is not as active compared to what it is back then, especially last year. I see that you like the show. What are your favorite pairings? My signature states all the pairings that I like below.
Who is your favorite fanfiction author? What are your favorite fanfics on the KND fandom? I answered the questions myself on the most recent post of "Differences between your fics and KND canon." Please take the time to read it.

In response to these questions and your earlier comments: I'd say that my preference when it comes to fanfiction would be stories that combine some aspects from other series like video games and other TV series, while simultaneously keeping to the original aspects of the characters and settings of the KND show. I feel it gives the story a special air of creativity and it answers some of those questions people ask about what would happen if 'blank' where to fight or meet 'blank'. As for pairings, I'd have to say that I'm 1/362 first and foremost. Mainly because it was just one of those pairings that was possible in the show but never addressed, left me wanting more. On that note, I'd say I'm also for other more obscure pairings from the show like the 86/60 pairing and some the pairings of the other background characters. It's not that I'm against mainstream pairings like 3/4 or others, I just feel that they beat us over the head with those couples enough in the series and it's time for some other, less obvious romances to take place. As for why I've only favorited Gamewizard so far, well a couple of reasons. One I've never gotten around to favoriting any of the other authors who's stories I read, stupid excuse I know but it's true. Two, I only really favorited him so I would get emailed on the updates he was making to his Firstborn story, god that thing took forever to finish. I have to agree with you, I'm not a big fan of the multi-cross over story arcs and I have to say I HATED Firstborn at times, half the time there were so many characters in play and so many things going on that I couldn't keep track of what was happening. I said I like it when authors bring in things from other series but he just brought in way to many things for my taste. My favorite author is definitely not Gamewizard, I've only seen some of the newer Fanfics posted but I plan on going back through the archives on the site to see some of the older stories, so I suppose I'll find one soon. Why did I only favorite his first cross over story, well for two reasons. One, it was much shorter and had much fewer elements than the other stories (I'm a big fan of Invader Zim ;D) and he wrote it in a way that made it seem much more believable than the other stories. Second, this was the first story I read that took place after INTERVIEWS and I really have never liked any other story as much as this one, there are just so many things in this first story that appeal to me and thats why it is my favorite of his Fanfics. His other stories, don't get me started. I intend to take your advice to heart, I've already started Mary sue tests for all my main characters and it's looking good so far. Also I've started reading Karkadinns story as you suggested and I like it so far. Just one thing bothers me in the beginning, using vegetables as torture, I know this makes sense in the KNDverse, but I tend to travel the logical road in my stories. As for my stories, so far my main story is based off of an idea I had a long time ago. I had this old idea for a story where kids started a revolution against all adults, essentially the US government, and that turned into a bloody war similar to the US Civil War. This coupled with some sci-fi ideas I had led to the creation of an entirely separate fictional universe. So for my stories I'm trying to incorporate that universe with the KND. Thats what I'm writing my stories off of for now. What do you think?

I see that you like the 1/362 pairing first and foremost. Just like Gamewizard2008 and Marty522 of fanfiction.net, it is my favorite pairing on the show as well! If you want to cut the time of digging through the archives of recommended stories from the past, take a look at the two links here: numbuh8.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=fanfics&thread=9233&page=1tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/FanficRecs/CodenameKidsNextDoorSpeaking of Gamewizard2008, most of the things you said about him and his series are true like having "Loads and Loads of Characters". I would say more, but you must check out the link here because my blog review expresses my thoughts on him: numbuh8.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fanfics&action=display&thread=9806&page=1Please give an opinion on my blog review as soon as possible. As for another good story that happens after "Operation: INTERVIEWS", you can check this story out: www.fanfiction.net/s/4059832/1/I also have an account on fanfiction.net. My pen name is catspats31. Check out my favorites list in terms of authors and stories if you have the time. As for your story concept, at least it's better than Gamewizard2008's fanon! I don't want KND stories to have too much blood in it since it's a kids show after all, but I do respect the concepts that you throw in it. I have a Nostalgia Critic quote to reflect it: "You know, for kids!" Now that "Legend of the Eight Firstborn" is done, you can remove him off your favorites list if you like.

Hola. I'm Marty. I love 1/362. I think we'll get along just fine. lol
I admit I'm not incredibly active over here right now; I kinda limit what sites I regularly check, due to the limited amount of time I get online right now. The best way to get in touch with me is over on FF.net (same name). Speaking of FF.net, I don't have much to show on there right now, but my current project is The Saccharine Exposure, which is heading into its finale soon. After that, I'll be diving into a series I've been planning for some time. Details on that tonight at 11.
I'd highly recommend reading catspats31's blog reviews of Gamewizard's stories; they're hilarious. I haven't finished reading 'em all myself, but I've been thoroughly enjoying them.
I can sympathize with wanting to use "real logic" over the "KNDverse logic." It's something I tend to do as well. But, I'll still veer away from it for my KND stuff; I don't just write KND fanfics, so I have plenty of outlets for the more realistic stuff. lol Anywho (sorry, I'm bad for bringing myself up), your idea definitely has potential. Lemme know if and when you start with that!
USNSCC, eh? Can't say I know much about it. Or anything, really. But, I'm in the Navy, so if you have any questions or anything about that, feel free to ask. lol

Speaking on the details that you'll give us at 11, I would like to see that. I see that you liked my blog review on Gamewizard2008. As soon as you're done reading it, please tell me what your favorite jokes are in the blog review. What are your favorites that made you laugh really hard? Some of my personal favorites include me breaking down after numerous phone calls to Dr. Eggman in "Operation: DEATHEGG", nearly going into an NC-style "Bat Credit Card" rage over the DCFDTL's Draco in Leather Pants treatment in "Operation: DUTCHMAN", and the classroom joke about crossovers at the end of the "Final Preparations" review. Speaking of blog reviews, I plan to do another one over the course of January 2013. I plan to do one on KNDFANGIRL's "The Dance". Despite its enormous popularity on fanfiction.net, I criticize the constant breaking of the fourth wall, adding characters from out of nowhere, numerous uses of copyrighted song lyrics, placing random author's notes outside the start or end of a chapter, wasting the start of most chapters to reply to most reviews individually from the previous chapter, and pointless skits that have nothing to do with the plot.

Catspats31: Thanks for the referrals, I'm writing a Christmas special at the moment, but when I'm done with that I'll be taking a break for the holidays so I'll have plenty of time to look into all these new stories, thanks! As for Gamewizards favorite, I've considered it, but he has reviewed my stories more often than anyone else, so I'd feel bad if I just let him go like that, reciprocation ya know. As for the violence, nothing too graphic I suppose, maybe one or two graphic scenes just to bring it home to people, but no real gory stuff, promise. Marty522: Thanks for the info, I've seen your story on the site a few times and I've read a few parts of it once or twice. It's pretty interesting, but doesn't really fit my taste. As for this new story, well, I'd love to see what you've come up with. Thanks for the support on my idea by the way, I've actually already started with it, but I can't tell you how or it would ruin the story . So your in the navy, thanks for the offer but I think I've got my plans figured out, seacadets has its own version of bootcamp that they require recruits to go to. After I went to that I'm pretty sure that military life is not for me, the program still appeals to me though so I haven't quit yet. If you want to look us up, google seacadets/compass.

Understandable. Since you seem to be into the more serious stuff, I'll let you know when I get started on my original stories. I've considered doing fanfics for some other stuff, like Mass Effect, but only Codename: KND is giving me the necessary inspiration right now. Maybe some other time. Fine, but don't keep me waiting too long. I do look forward to seeing it when it's ready. Good for you, man. My enlistment ends in a little over a year, and I positively cannot wait until then. To put it shortly, the Navy has never liked me, and I haven't gotten along well with it. lol But... but... boot camp was the best part! Military life definitely isn't for everyone. So if you figure out what you really wanna do, then don't let anyone or anything stop you. catspats31: I'll be revealing more details on the series around the final chapter of TSE. Don't worry, that isn't all that far away. Honestly, I was chuckling to myself most of the way through your blog reviews. I'm too sleepy to think of specific things right now, but the moments you mentioned were great. Oh, and thanks again for emailing those to me, by the way. Much appreciated.

Marty552:
Thanks for the advice man, great to see your getting out soon, so stay safe. As for my career, I still kind of want to be a sailor so I'm looking into the local maritime academy.
The story I've been talking about is already in progress, it's called KND Chronicles : Invasion. I'm liking how its going so far, but I'm on Hiatus for the holidays so I'm taking the chance to go back and correct and update my chapters. Also, if you want some more background info on the universe or some of the factions I'm planning, check out my profile page. Tell me what you think.

Honestly, I really enjoy being underway (out to sea). I think it's pretty fun in itself. I don't get seasick, so that helps. If I wasn't so intent on going back to my home state, I'd definitely consider working on a USNS or maybe a civilian ship.
Well, sweet. lol I'm really close to finishing the chapter I'm working on for TSE, so I'm pretty much concentrating on that. But once I get that posted, I'll definitely check it out. I usually set aside the few days after I update a story to take a break from writing and check out others' stories.

Welcome to the forums, I'm Argentine Swordman's Mate and I used to be the resident sailor around here until marty522 joined.
So, you're in the USNSCC? Well, I'm in the United States Navy as a third class petty officer and a culinary specialist.
As for writing, there are some stories that I wanted to write, but my attention span is not that good. One idea that I came up for a story is some eighteen-year-old kid who fights robots larger than himself and the governor of New York is one of his allies.

Nice to hear from you Swordsman, I'm surprised how many sailors we have around here. If you had a good idea for a story I'd say go for it, but write it for yourself instead of immediately posting on the Fanfics site, that way you can take your time on it. Can't help you with the short attention span though and happy birthday man, congrats!
