Father's Birthday

The Delightful Children from down the Lane were busily walking about their grand kitchen in their mansion. They were wearing a large white apron that covered them all and white puffy chef hats.
Several ingredients were spread out across a table and Bruce held a mixing bowl and was mixing yellow batter, smiling cheerfully. Today was Father's Birthday, and the Delightfuls had taken it upon themselves to make his birthday cake.

father woke up from his bed and yawned. he knew what today was and he was happy that he was another day older and wiser

The rest of the Delightful Children had begun blowing up brightly colored balloons. Bruce tasted the batter, smiled, then began pouring it into a cake pan.

father not knowing what his children were planning went into his office and played his organ for serval hours.

The Delightful Children were currently putting on the finishing touches to Father's birthday cake. It was chocolate cake with fancy black and yellow icing. There was a huge banner hanging in the living room that said 'Happy Birthday Father' in fancy cursive letters and there were balloons allover.

Father sat in his office still playing his organ when he got a call on his phone.
hello there ben.
it was father's older brother monty.
Father:hello monty
father a little upset because monty was always the favorite.
Monty:anywho i wanted to say happy birthday.
father smiled and said thank you and hung up the phone and cont. playing his organ.

The Delightful Children sighed happily, smiling collectively at the finished birthday cake. Then they rushed off to go get Father, searching many rooms before they heard the sound of organ music. Quietly opening the door to the office he was in and walked in, "Father?"They spoke up in unsion, almost unable to keep grins off their faces.

Father:yes my children?

The Delightfuls stifled giggles, trying to keep calm expressions. "We have something we need to show you"They chorused happily.

father got up from his chair and smiled softly (because hes in a very good mood and they think its werid)
Father: Alright then show me.

The Delightful Children blinked collectively in confusion at Fathers unusual happiness, they had never seen him happy before. They nodded, then walked out of the room, leading him towards the living room.

father blinked in confusing when he saw the living room. he began to smile and hugged his childrenXD

"Happy Birthday Father"The Delightfuls said happily as he hugged them, but they were still a little confused, cause Father was normally always yelling at them.

father cont. to smile not saying a word but was thinking to him self this could possibly be the best birthday ever <3

The Delightful Children blinked once, smiling up at him. "Oh,and let us go get your present!"They said happily, giggling in unison. They scampered off, then quickly returned dragging a large squirming present with a bright red bow on the top of it, it looked like a person. They pushed it infront of Father, grinning collectively up at him, their light blue eyes shining.
